Nice apartment but

The host did not give adequate check in instructions for checkin, wasn’t available for check in nor responsive to communication about check in and didn’t leave anyone prepared to do check in. Completely unacceptable experience. Eventually the problem was resolved and we stayed at the property. The entry to access apartment is not comfortable Poorly lit and not clean. Apartment was clean and spacious. Location good. A/C good. No instructions provided to use any appliances in the apartment. Kitchen barely functional in terms of use of appliances and cooking supplies. Bed VERY hard and uncomfortable.
