lovely spot with heaps of potential. great outlook/view and an easy walk to the beach. money needs to be spent on repairs and a deep clean to make it a shmick holiday home.otherwise well appointed, fabulous holiday atmosphere and we had a great time.

This is a great beach house for a lot of people. It has back garden access to the beach. The beach at high tide is just pebbles, but as the tide recedes it reveals a beautiful sandy beach, ideal for children. Sam and Jenna were excellent hosts, and we found the house very well-equipped with children's books activities and videos for a family holiday.

Great place to stay for a group or extended family. Had everything we needed and lots of space. Might not be important to some but beds were really comfortable and the showers were excellent. Just what we needed after days biking around the coast.

Although old, house was perfect with all its bedrooms.Downstairs area had obviously not been used for some time as it smelt musty.Overall the house was great and the host was easy to deal with.

Best Location for an idyllic holiday with private access to the beach

The best part of our stay was that Sam was available any anytime of day/night to ensure that our stay was pleasant and questions answered promptly. We highly recommend this property to everyone

This is not going to be a good report Upon arriving It was the filthiest accommodation that we have ever stayed in A sign says take your shoes off but wearing white socks were soiled very quickly The filth in the bathroom in the shower tracks looks like they haven’t been cleaned for years Kitchen had to be wiped down before you put anything on the benches stove looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for years The bbque was unusable Cobwebs DustCutlery draw was dirty Linen in cupboard not folded properly Sheet just rolled up 2 people wouldn’t stay there and those that couldn’t go was horrendous If we could have got our money back at short notice we would have gone somewhere else I don’t know if Stayz checks out the places but they need to look a bit harder Not a place I would or could recommend to anyone DO BETTER

Hi Susanne, I am sorry to hear that you found lots to complain about and only made me aware of it after your stay was completed and not when you arrived or during your 2 day stay. There's not much that I can do after the fact that you didn't complain when you arrived or for the duration of your stay. If there was something to complain about when you arrived I could have done something about it but once you leave and are no longer in the property what I do to follow up with can and will only improve the experience for others. My Mobile number is always included in the 2 check-in messages that you received and I never heard from you. I must admit that your communication with me directly did not exist until now. Thankyou for your feedback and I will endeavour to make the necessary improvements that are possible while maintaining the property in an affordable price bracket. Again, thanks for the feedback and I will endeavour to improve the property and experience of all my Guests.

Kitchen is well stocked and the place is nice and big. There was lots of space here for the 9 of us. Short walk to the beach and close to everything we needed. It wasn't the cleanest place I've ever stayed, with cleanliness varying from room to room. There are several large dusty cobwebs in the stairwell ceiling and kitchen curtains and the dining room floors weren't particularly clean. Also some of the pillows were quiet old and flat and most of us required two pillows to sleep. But it was overall pretty good value for money and better than I expected from the photos.
