Ideal climate and mid-peninsula location half way between San Francisco and San Jose. Close to Stanford and Oracle. Excellent local restaurants. Access to two level home with three spacious bedrooms, TV Room and relaxing living room with fireplace and French doors. Hardwood floors throughout. Enjoy the well-appointed kitchen and dining area. Available for month-month bookings and executive re-locations. Access to two level home and large, private, beautiful deck with extensive views, surrounded by oak trees. Please note there is a separate studio unit on the property next to the garage.

The house was perfect for our extended stay while we were working in the area. Comfortable, clean, and fantastic outdoor deck with beautiful views. Host was helpful and accommodating with immediate responses to all of our requests. We would highly recommend.

Fantastic Bay Area Accomodations

This home, located in the hills of San Carlos was the perfect spot for us to land each night of our week long stay in the Bay Area. Not only is the location convenient to major highways, bridges, the cities, and coast; it also was comfortable and clean. The owner left us with a beautiful welcome basket of fruit, cookies, and champagne. She also was extremely responsive via text for any questions. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this home!

Wonderful house in great location!

We stayed at Ruth’s property for 2 weeks and absolutely adored it. The house is VERY comfortable in a great location and has an incredibly well stocked kitchen. The views are gorgeous….we watched the sunrise every day. Would highly recommend the house and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Ruth!

Felt like coming home for the holidays

We have rented homes every Christmas in various locations for 15 years. This one was our favorite. Have you ever been someplace that just felt like home? It was so comfortable and welcoming. The views are breathtaking and although we didn’t get to use the deck because it was raining most of the time, I’m sure it would have been amazing to sit out there with a glass of wine. Ruth was wonderful and very prompt if you have questions or need anything. It really was a magical Christmas there.

Comfortable stay in San Carlos

We had a very comfortable stay at Ruth's house in San Carlos. The house is beautifully furnished and has all amenities for a relaxing stay. There is a park closeby and the neighborhood is also very nice. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a place to stay in San Carlos.

Great baptism weekend

My husband, daughter, son-in-law and 2 small children so enjoyed this lovely home. The views only added to making it a special place. My son-in -law especially liked the espresso in the morning while enjoying the view. Even the rain could not hamper the view, or the small deer we saw in the neighborhood. Plenty of nice restaurants and shopping close by. Ruth was very gracious leaving us snacks and a bottle of wine. We will certainly be back.

Great place and well set up

Really liked staying here. Ruth has the house well set up with coffee and snacks and some other food. House is big and beds were very comfortable. The showers were hot and with good pressure, not to mention I could have almost left my toiletries at home thanks to how well stocked the bathroom was. I stayed here for a short work trip and would totally stay here again.

This home is beautiful!!

We were in San Carlos for a family event. This home was the perfect distance to the airport and the city. When we arrived, Ruth gave us the tour and when we stepped out onto the large porch with spectacular views, we were greeted by a few deer grazing in the woods below!! The home is perfect for seven people and the kitchen is large and has all the required items needed for grilling and home cooking. We will most certainly book again when our travels take us back to San Francisco!!
