The name “Wild Dog Shore” carries a touch of local history, believed to have originated from fishermen long ago. While some maps may place the name near Lake Wellington, this stretch of shoreline remains an enchanting and serene escape, promising natural wonders and a true connection to the sea.

Its unspoiled beauty is perfect for long beach walks, shell collecting, and beachcombing. Keep an eye out for dolphins, whales, and abundant seabirds along the shoreline. With plenty of spots for fishing, try your luck catching flathead, whiting, salmon, snapper, and more.
