We loved the location of this house - very quiet and an easy walk to the beach which was very suitable for our grandson and kayaking. Plenty of room for our family of five adults and one child to spread out and relax. There was a problem with the key when we arrived but our host was very helpful and sorted the problem quickly.

Stay was very enjoyable. The discription of the beds was very confusing. It listed the beds as both king and queen in the post ( host said she tried to clear up that problem but Stayz did not change it). Host was very pleasant to deal with and went out of her way to be helpful. Location was ideal for our needs and the yard wad perfect for our dogs. Only issue was the sprinklers came at 3:00 am and woke us up.

Hi John
Thank you for your review, I am glad you enjoyed your stay.
The issue with the beds was clarified with you well in advance of your stay when I confirmed that one bed was incorrectly listed as a king when it was a queen.
You did not mention the issue of the reticulation until now and I will arrange to have the timer changed to later on in the morning this afternoon.
I hope you will stay with us again soon.

Lorraine

We just wanted a short stay and this opportunity was great. We have a well behaved Labrador that joined us which was a bonus. Otherwise we would have had to seek out a minder.
Hi Kathleen
Thanks so much for your review.
Please come back and stay again soon.
It is always a pleasure dealing with lovely guests.

Ideally located close to beach and easily walkable to Dunsborough. Fantastic for families or couples wanting to stay together, this home has plenty of space inside and out, lots of seating. Big bonus being able to take our dogs and being so close to dog beach. Will definitely look to stay again. Thank you!

Photos don't do this place justice, very roomy and spacious. Whilst it is an older property, lots of room and close to all the action in dunsborough and just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Place can accommodate a lot more along with the granny flat. Owner instructions were easy and our family loved our stay.We will be back!
This house was perfect for our weeklong summer getaway. Having the kids at one end of the house at night and us adults at the other was ideal. Our dog loved the room she had to wander around in the backyard and the aircon worked really well on the hot summer days, though the house was pretty cool without it. Will definitely come back!

Property was open plan and airy. Enough room so that we didn't feel on top of each other.
Enclosed backyard. Walking distance to the beach and shops.
Clean. Close to attractions. Good place to stay with a family.
We loved staying in this spacious house. It felt like we all had our own little zone with the master at the front of the house & bedrooms at the back of the house. We also had access to the granny flat so myself & my husband had a private area, my eldest daughter, husband & baby had an area, and our 3 teens had an area, it worked out just perfectly! Very well-equipped house, lovely gardens and outside area. Photos don't do this house justice. Added bonus, this house is only a short walk to the beach.

Very tired property
House is in beautiful area near shops and dog friendly beach although house is in need of some tlc. Problem with WiFi that couldn't be solved was very frustrating for us as we are from overseas and needed to keep in contact with family. Outside furniture very dirty and areas very messy.

Hi Judith
Your review surprises me.
I spoke with your daughter when she arrived and I was told that everything was ‘great’.
There was a problem with the internet which is an NBN issue and not our fault. My husband liaised with iinet to get it fixed.
As you were texting him throughout wr had no idea you had an issue with your overseas mobile. Had you raised this, I could have switched you to our other house. You did not tell me about the issue u til after you had left.
The back area being an issue was not raised by your daughter or you until this review. I have and the gardener over to check it in any event.

Fantastic house. Clean and spacious. Close to everything.
We are 2 couples and our Mum. Spacious and clean house and everything you need. Plenty of room for individual privacy but also sitting altogether. Comfortable lounges and beds. The washer and dryer were great.
Good quality pots and pans and sharp knives as holiday places usually lack those.
Close to Dunsborough shops and 100 meters to the beach.
Absolutely perfect.
Very quiet street on a long weekend.
Would book this place again. Lorraine couldn't have been more helpful.

We have a fantastic holiday with our grown up children and grand children.
Lots of room, big couches, lots of chairs. Everything you need supplied.
Nice outdoor area again with lots of chairs, table room. Parking for a few cars.
Proximity to beach a peaceful, small stroll away. We walked to town for breaky and shops. 1.5km oneway along coastal path.
Host very helpful and responsive to messages.
We absolutely enjoyed our stay, all family members were happy and we would definetly stay again.
Thank you Lorraine for offering such a welcoming home.
Great house short walk to beach & dog beach. 15/20 min walk to town. Enclosed yard & great outdoor table & chairs under cool verandah. All beds comfortable, bathrooms clean and kitchen well supplied with all that you need. 3 bedrooms had ceiling fans which worked well & AC in lounge & main bedroom cooled house enough on the hottest of nights/days. Host was good to communicate with. Minor problem getting access to the key due to lock box being jammed - easily sorted out with host. Thanks for a fantastic stay.

Great Location
This house was spacious and clean overall, large dining table and plenty of comfy couch space for everyone, which was great at the end of a busy day with three teenagers. The beds were really comfy and the property is well-equipped. Location's great, neighbourhood is quiet and the beaches are close and beautiful.
The property could, however, do with a bit of TLC (January 2022). The back garden is a small seating area and an unkempt driveway with weeds, abandoned stuff and what seems to be an unused granny flat - but is fully enclosed for dogs. Batteries need replacing in remotes and clocks; we had to share a remote for the bedroom fans, which wasn't ideal in January. The fridge and utensils were a bit grimy, the toilet drips and has no lid, lots of windows are without blinds so the house got hot, and the dishwasher didn't seem to clean the dishes. All minor things but added together made the stay slightly less pleasant than it otherwise could have been. Also a note for families with young children, the master bedroom is a long way from the other bedrooms, which may be a problem or a benefit depending on your point of view.
It is a quiet and spacious property in a great location and makes for a mostly comfortable stay and a good base for relaxing in Dunsborough or exploring the region.

Hi Louise
It is a shame that you chose not to mention the issues that you had with the dishwasher and the missing remote during your stay as we could have addressed them then.
The subsequent guests have not reported any problems with
It.
Your only contact during your stay was to clarify the wifi code and confirm how comfortable you were.
There are shutters on the majority of windows which keep the house nice and cool.
You have also clarified that the ‘discarded’ items in the garden was actually one of the bikes that we leave there for guests to use. It was not ‘discarded’, rather it
Was leaning up against a wall on the verandah.
I am sorry you felt the need to raise any issues after your stay.

Fantastic experience. Highly recommend this property for accommodation.
I was great experience. This property was well maintained and sufficient for big family. Excellent location near to beach.
Out of all, this is well maintained pet friendly property. My family enjoyed it lot and we got all what we want.
Highly recommend to families with Pets.
Lovely stay this week, Lorraine organised amazing weather for us too! Property is huge and clean and everything you need is there. Brought our two small dogs and they loved the enclosed backyard to explore. Great location close to the beach and town. Would definitely recommend yo families wanting a peaceful relaxing holiday.
Comfortable, spacious, clean and pet friendly house
We just had a wonderful short stay in this property with our family and two dogs. Fantastic location and a lovely property which was fully enclosed and safe for our dogs. It was so nice to be able to walk to the beach and then come home and sit and talk around the big table or on the comfortable couch.
Thank you to Lorraine who was faultless with her communication with us and so lovely and accommodating to deal with.
Large house plenty of room to move around. Light , the sun shines in . Plenty of hot water, great water pressure. Everything you need is provided.
Great back yard for the dog , very secure.
Easy walking distance to the dog friendly beach .Lovely beach front walk way , short walking distance to the town centre. An ideal place to enjoy your stay in Dunsborough at a reasonable price
Overall pleased with the property.
The fan didn’t work also the shower head was not very good in the second bathroom.
Also fans in the ensuite and bedroom with the two single beds weren’t working .
Otherwise it was all good.

Hi Dianne
Thanks for your review.
Thé fans were working fine today so I am not sure what happened there.
I assume the split systems kept the house cool in any event.
I have booked in the electrician to have a look at the fan in the second bathroom as the cleaner also confirmed there is a problem with it.
Thanks very much for staying with us and I hope the wedding went well for you.

Lorraine
