The Experience
Wake up to sweeping ocean views and choose your perfect kind of day. Swim in the protected, shallow western beach — calm, clear and ideal for families — or head across to the surf on the eastern beach for waves, beach walks and wide open coastline. Moreton Island is an adventure playground: unbelievable fishing, 4WD beach driving, crabbing, worming, bird watching, and even climbing or tobogganing down the giant sand hills.
Prefer to relax? Float in the plunge pool, wander down to the resort, or simply stretch out on the deck and watch dolphins, turtles, cruise ships and yachts drift across the bay. Each evening ends with a sunset that lights up the entire horizon — a moment so spectacular it has inspired a marriage proposal.
At Grand View, you can be as adventurous or as laid back as you like. Breezy, bright and perfectly positioned to capture cooling sea winds all year round, the house makes holiday living effortless.
The House
This spacious hilltop home features everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay:
• 4 bedrooms – ideal for 2 families or 3 couples. Comfortably sleeps 6 adults or 9 guests including children.
• Large north facing deck with panoramic views
• Two large family rooms one upstairs and one down with big sofas and TVs
• Fully equipped kitchen with induction cooktop, dishwasher, coffee machines and all essentials
• Private plunge pool overlooking Moreton Bay
• Double glazed and insulated for natural cooling
• Fans in all rooms
• Laundry facilities including washing machine and clothes line

The kitchen is fully stocked for easy holiday cooking, including:
• Fridge, oven, induction cooktop, microwave, dishwasher

• Coffee pod machine + milk frother
• Glassware, crockery and cutlery for 9 guests
Linen:
• Please bring your own linen (pillows, doonas and blankets provided).
• Linen hire is not available.
Getting There : 4WD optional — Grand View makes Moreton Island easy for families, whether you drive or simply arrive and relax.
No 4WD No problem
Take the Tangalooma Flyer (4 trips daily). Check in your luggage and supplies, enjoy a 75 minute ferry ride, then take the resort taxi to the house for around $20.
With a 4WD
Take the MICAT Ferry from Port of Brisbane (90 minutes). The drive to the house takes around 30 minutes. Parking available for two 4WDs.

As part of the Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort community, guests can enjoy:

Stay Requirements
• Off Peak: 3 night minimum
• School Holidays: 7 night minimum (Saturday–Saturday)
• Damage & Behaviour Deposit: $750 (paid 1 week prior)
