We really enjoyed our stay in the property. It is reasonably priced and very close to shops, RSL, etc. The host is very helpful and easy to talk to. Thank you very much Cheryl and we will surely stay there again .

The location of the property was excellent with access to the water and several dining options extremely close by. More than enough room to accomodate a large family or group.Check in was a breeze and the house itself was very comfortable. Would definately stay here again in the future.

Great location

We enjoyed our week at River house. The host had left thoughtful welcome gifts, the kitchen was well stocked and the beds comfortable. Our pooch enjoyed his stay too. The host was very responsive and helped sort out a small issue very quickly. The location was very central and close to the river, Woolies, 2 clubs and cafes.

Wonderful older style house, clean and tidy. So many power points, we usually struggle and have to take our own power boards for our devices. Full kitchen, everything we needed for a 5 day stay. Being able to wash and dry clothes was so good. The ramp into the house was a bonus as my Mum is unable to do stairs. It was so much easier for unpacking and packing the car with a ramp. The boys enjoyed running up and down with our belongings. Our Host was so user friendly and available for any questions or info. We absolutely loved this house wishing we could have stayed longer. If able we will be back .

Riverhouse Escape

Our Riverhouse escape was lovely, very spacious & close to everything. We all did enjoy our time here & it was so great that we could bring our fur baby. Maybe update your photos on the website, as some things you expected to be there were not, or placed differently. I was looking forward to sitting on the front balcony in the sun on that huge timber lounge, but it was moved to the other side & the trees are overgrown in backyard, making it hard to use that seated back area.

Unfortunately the owners cleaner left them down and previous occupants had let placewith dirty stove, BBQ and floors. Bedrooms and bathrooms very clean.Advised owner who was ill at time, she was very upset over house condition.

Best Location & Great house

The house is in the best location we walked everywhere. 2 club’s across the road, supermarket not even 5 minute walk away. Right near the river and parks & beaches 5 minute drive away. The house had plenty of room, beds very comfortable and also everything we needed was supplied. Awesome afternoon breezes to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view.

Loved it!

My family and I, with our pooch, stayed for a week. The location was great, the house was fantastic and Cheryl was amazing. Even going as far as shipping our left behind possessions to us (never trust the kids when they yes mum, we've checked under the bed). The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. My holiday dream was to pull up and not move the car. We did just that. There was no need to drive anywhere. Would highly recommend!!

Nice pet friendly property.

The house is in a good location with good access to beaches and the river. Walk to cafes in just minutes, and both cafes nearby were very good. Overall the place was very clean, basic, but comfortable. We traveled with our dog, and found the yard was fine. The dog friendly beach was very nice. As we usually travel without a pet, there was a concern that pet friendly accomodation would have dog smells. However this place has been respected by dog owners, is well maintained and was clean. If you are after accomodation in an easy location that is pet friendly, this place will suit. We arrived a few hours early and the owner happily allowed us access to the property which was very helpful, and she was available on the phone to arrange this which we appreciated. One of the bedrooms has a glass door and even though it was not see through, light came through at night. I would stay here again if we traveled with our pet.

Home away from home

We were really comfortable in the house it was so homey. It was very convenient to all amenities with cafes, lake and Woolies within walking distance and just a short drive to the V wall. Our host Cheryl was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again

Winter Getaway.

Creek Street Pet Friendly was a lovely place to stay Roomy back yard for our fur baby to play. Like anywhere sad when lockdown came .

Nambucca Stay

My family was very happy with River House . Nambucca Heads is a beautiful spot to begin with and the house is a short walk to the local shops (including Woolies) and also the lovely riverside walk nearby. You have to drive only a few minutes to get to Shelly beach , a very calm beach with gentle waves. The house itself is quite large , neat and tidy and the kitchen is well equipped. There was an excellent desk spot that my daughter used for drawing and also a lovely piano which she used every day. There is also Wifi which is pretty essential these days with a couple of zoom meetings that needed to be done. Also the house is well positioned with the front and back yards having lots of trees around . Also there is a good balcony at the front where you can have a nice meal outdoors . We were very happy with our stay.

Life on easy creek

Nicely appointed holiday home. Great-sized yard for dogs to play, relax, sniffs about, with lemon trees. Big deck with views to river. Very comfortable all around. One of our favourite things about Nambucca Heads is range of dog beaches. Boatshed cafe across street has good coffee/food, after returning from riverside walk to off-lead Stuart Island. Thanks for a good relaxing week. P&P

Comfortable, homey and well appointed

We had a great time staying here at Cheryl’s house. It’s in a great location, within walking distance of the river, where we take the dogs for a lovely walk. Close to the beach and the v-wall too. The house itself is really nice and well furnished for a relaxing time. Kitchen has everything you could need. The garden has beautiful flowering trees and shrubs, which is really inviting. We had a wonderful time here!

Back yard not secure enough for pets.

Nambucca Heads is suffering from the highway bypass. Not a reflection on this property.

not sure what this means- however when i was told the kelpie would escape i brought someone to fix the problem. the fence is now very very secure..however if you have a dog which wants to escape which jumps very high it is best to not come to any home...and leave your dog unattended... also- i do not want dogs left by themselves on any of my properties....unless very well behaved...not fair to the dog and also to myself..my homes are beautiful and I dont want worried dogs left unattended. if your dog does not go with you everywhere when you are on holiday it should be left at a car center when you travel. My homes are not for saving money from kennels- they are for bringing your dog on holiday and coming with you. i have had several dogs and my dogs never wanted to escape anywhere since they were well cared for.
