Nestled on a hill, and located in a remarkable part of Australia, "No.9" enjoys breath-taking views of The Bay of Fires. This is a relatively undiscovered destination, making it the perfect getaway retreat.
No 9 Bay of Fires is a modern home. We've taken our time and paid attention to detail to ensure your comfort. This is our home away from home. After you've stayed here we think you'll feel the same way too.
As soon as you step inside you'll feel its beach side ambience. It's casual yet with modern day luxuries for your comfort. Everything is ready so you can enjoy your break.
Beds are made up with fresh linen. There's a luxurious King-size bed in the master bedroom, a comfy Queen size bed in the second bedroom, while the third bedroom has two snug single beds. Eco-friendly quality shampoo and conditioner is available. Like most of the area, rainwater is collected in a tank and re-used on the garden.
This holiday home is well positioned and maximises sunlight. Built over two levels, it has plenty of living and dining space to spread out. Enjoy private solitude to read a book or stay connected via the free wireless network. There are cosy living spaces that are perfect for dining and relaxing, including a large jetmaster fireplace.
The kitchen is built a little like a ship's deck, overlooking the ocean and split-level dining/entertaining area. It's beautifully equipped with modern appliances including a Miele dishwasher and Smeg kettle and blender.
A Weber BBQ is ready to go on the upstairs deck. Downstairs has a tasteful landscaped area for greater privacy and change of scenery. Each bedroom has its own mini TV/DVD and in-house movies are available.
Tasmania has abundant and beautiful nature and wildlife. Wake up to Kookaburras' laughter or watch the sea eagles catch the afternoon thermals over the ocean below. There are plenty of nature walks. Marvel at the clear turquoise water that contrasts the orange lichen covered rocks. Stroll to the beach, local cafe or swim in the nearby rock pools. At night, discover a bright starlit sky away from the city lights or huddle around the large open fire.
Tasmanians call their holiday homes a "shack". While set up for holidays, this is not your average "shack". It's geared to soothe your senses in a wonderfully natural environment that will restore your mind, body and soul.
