Adeline Cottage was in a fabulous position where we could walk to the attractions of central Port Fairy. It was surrounded by beautiful gardens and we enjoyed drinks on the rear deck accompanied by delightful birdsong.Unfortunately, we felt that for the money we paid, we were let down by the standard of the accommodation. Drawers were dirty, and cupboards in the kitchen untidy. The rusty shower caddy in the ensuite shower contained a small, well used cake of soap and three almost empty bottles of shampoo etc. We had to supply our own toiletries and pantry supplies as these were extremely limited. For the price we paid for our special week away, we felt very disappointed in the cleanliness and quality of the accommodation.

The property is lovely, in an ideal location, very close to the main street and with a nice garden. However, upon arrival, the kitchen surfaces and stove were extremely dirty as was the microwave and fridge so we had to clean this up ourselves. The oven door was broken and was so dirty inside we didn't bother to clean it. We also had a mouse in the property. Otherwise, our stay was very pleasant.

Loved our stay here. Warm & cosy during some wild winter weather - wood fire was much appreciated! Lovely garden and deck at the back, close to town and located in a quiet area. Communication with owner was excellent. Would definitely stay again.
