Unfortunately the photos are miss leading, it shows feeding possums and sugar gliders ect (as an animal lover, this is why we choose it) their was not any, their is cages with them in, but the owner does not offer for you too see them, she was feeding one while we were there, was an opening for them to show us, as we asked lots of questions. We had the cabin that was attached to the house and it felt as tho you were on holidays with them, as they weee so close and could hear them. It also show a rain forest water/creek, but nope it was about a 10 minute drive, to the national park Over all the apartment was clean and tidy. The park lands were overgrown with piles of dead plants ect. Was a really uncomfortable stay.

Magical Retreat

Our stay with Helene & Manfred was amazing the unit is perfect although a little cold in winter with no heating. In saying that the unit is spacious clean and extremely well stocked. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is lovely. The surroundings are beautiful with Kangaroo's and other wildlife visiting. Helene and Manfred are wildlife carers and allowed us to visit the huge Avery which is attached to the house to see the sugar gliders and hold a baby. Helene & Manfred are wonderful hosts and are currently building another separate unit on the property which is also beautiful. Great Location !!! Great Hosts !!! Beautiful surroundings !!! we will certainly be back.

Sharon and her partner are a wonderful couple, who showed a keen interest in the wildlife we care for. They are interesting to talk to and share thoughts with.

Lovely, quiet, attention to detail.

Lovely, private, tranquil and thoughtfully appointed accommodation surrounded by nature. Agnes Waters and 1770 are just up the road. Ideal for those seeking a quieter experience of the area.

Lyris is a wonderful person and we were amazed how spotless she left the apartment. It would be a great pleasure to see her again.
