The Rye Backbeach shops are on Dundas Street, only a 5 minute drive. There you’ll find a Pizza Place, a Grog Shop, a Bakery, a Cafe and a Milk Bar.
SHOES and FLOORS: Please refrain from wearing high heels or dragging in the chairs from outside. These have already damaged the floor. Please also do not move or drag furniture around the house.
ACCIDENTS on the Carpets:
Please do not use cleaning products on the woolen carpet without letting the owner know.
I have a special carpet cleaner who is very cheap and very good. It will be better for all in the long run if you let the owner know ASAP if any accidents occur.
CLEANING: Please leave the house as clean as you can. Extra Covid cleaning has taken its toll on all Accommodation and cleaners.
If the house is left in a bad state you may incur and an extra cleaning fee of up to $40 per hour.
If your rubbish does not fit in the outside bin then please take it with you.
WINDOWS and DOORS: The front sliding door is a new double glazed door. Please make sure that children do not scratch the windows or doors with toys or objects.
Please make sure all windows and doors are locked before you leave the house and the heating and cooling are turned off.
THE SOFA: Extra blankets are in the Main Bedroom drawers and on the back of the sofa. Please use these on the sofa if you think you are likely to get the sofa dirty. Please do not let children jump or wear shoes on the sofa.

FLYSCREENS: Flyscreen doors must be shut at all times. The mosquitoes can be a real problem in this area and will keep you awake if inside.
