It was so lovely to recharge and stay in this peaceful place with the family. It had everything we needed and the kids loved the cows walking past our door!Would happily go back!

Eco Lodge

Magic spot, very quiet with lots of wildlife including a platypus in the creek, an echidna on the door step and lots of birds.

Fantastic escape from Sydney

We had another great stay at the Ecolodge - its a great place to get away from the city with lovely walks in the hills, an amazing river, great views and outlooks, and a quirky and fun house to stay in with a great fire and a sleeping arrangement that is very fun for the kids. This time we also arranged a ride on the Icelandic ponies which my 5 yr old daughter absolutely loved! Will definitely be back!

My Opinion of my Stay

Overall a lovely place to unwind and relax, I have a few complaints regarding power, lack of amenities such as a Television for example. I also disliked the situation with the toilets but the place and overall area is gorgeous and a splendid to be at.

Megalong Valley

The house is beautiful - clean, very well equipped with everything you need and with fabulous views. A great place to sit on the deck and read a book in peace. The only sound is the roar of the river below. A tranquil oasis.But terrain is very steep and rocky and a 4 wheel drive make it easier to get around.

Beauty and adventure

Paradisiacal spot, kind and helpful hosts that dropped by. Wise idea to create this eco-lodge to model how to take care of creation in a comfortable, hospitable setting. The website listing's accommodation graphic isn't accurate - it shows a pair of bunkbeds plus the single upstairs (5 total beds), but there is one set of bunkbeds plus the single (3 total beds) - accurately described in the written information. That is a detail that should not overshadow the otherwise wonderful place itself and attentive caretakers. Thank you!

Peaceful place

Eco lodge is a cosy getaway in a tranquil setting. The owners and managers are extremely welcoming and accommodating. We had a wonderful stay - highly recommended for those seeking a quiet retreat

Best holiday ever

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Eco lodge. It was the most relaxing holiday we have ever been on. Great time spent with our family just being together instead of having to do things. Amazing views & the stars one night were the best we’ve ever seen.

Stunning

We had a wonderful weekend at the eco lodge. The setting is just stunning, and the house is lovely and comfortable and built to make the most of the location. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay including walking on the land, french cricket down by the river, and a barbecue on the verandah.I was sad to leave. Thank you !!

Consistently Amazing

This is now the second time that we have been lucky enough to spend time in the Eco Lodge, and again the house and property exceeded our expectations. For a family with children the Eco Lodge ticks all the boxes if you are looking for an escape from the City.

Beautiful, peaceful & serene

We had a wonderful time staying at the Eco Lodge. The lodge itself was well appointed with everything you needed to have a comfortable stay. We sat outside on the veranda everyday enjoying the sound of the Cox’s River flowing and the wildlife surrounding us. The property is beautiful. We took one of the 4WD tracks and ended up on top of the ridge with the most spectacular views! We even saw an echidna in the wild. The kids loved the flying fox over the river and we spent quite a bit of time just relaxing on the rivers edge. Our hosts were great. Every email was answered in a very timely manner. We loved our stay at the Eco Lodge and will definitely return.

A beautiful getaway

Wonderful

We had a wonderful weekend away with our young kids. A beautiful and secluded spot, with the beautiful flowing river and green hills. The kids loved the flying fox!

Stunning

We absolutely loved the Eco Cottage. The location is amazing - so tranquil and private. Wonderful to have the river there for picnics and paddling, and there were lovely walks. Great to be in a place off the grid, too. We all felt restored and refreshed by our short holiday in this special place and can't wait to go back.

Simply Magical

This is a truly magical place, and provides a perfect opportunity to connect with nature. During our two day stay we ziplined, explored the creek, picknicked, and had a wonderful tour of the stables with our young children, who will have beautiful memories of this place. Thank you for having us.
