This beautiful beach house is 100 metres from one of the best walking and swimming beaches in South Australia. Ocean Fountain is not just your ordinary beach shack, it's a beautiful, comfortable home away from home with the bonus of the beach and so much more.

The house boasts two double bedrooms
One with a King-size bed and one with a Queen-sized bed.

A stunning well-equipped kitchen for your comfort with microwave, all crockery and cutlery and all cooking utensils supplied, tea towels and dishwasher with tablets.

Moonta Bay is surrounded by white sandy coves and beaches with clear blue waters. The beach access is literally at the end of the street, which is the perfect spot to sit and watch the sunset at the end of the day. Alternatively enter the beach from the secret garden, which is absolutely stunning.

Moonta Bay has restaurants, cafes, a supermarket, a chemist and a variety of retail shops. There is something here for everyone.
The kids will love the "Splash Town Water Park", playground and the safe swimming area along the Moonta Bay jetty. All of this only 5 mins walk along Moonta Bay foreshore from Ocean Fountain.

Moonta Bay is approximately a 2 hour drive from Adelaide.

Very clean plenty of room to move around water pressure was great in the shower. enjoyed being outside great big outdoor setting also having a BBQ was great definitely would stay again.

Lovely place to stay

A quiet, peaceful, relaxing place to stay. Well equipped, comfortable bed. The only downside was that none of the free to air TV channels are available & Kayo didn’t work (other streaming services did).

The house is ok for an old beach side home, around the house and outdoor area could do with some maintenance. Unfortunately whilst its close to the beach its miles away from anywhere to dine, get a coffee or have a drink. I went to the Port Hughes Tavern one night and it was $15 each way for a cab. Look it wasn't for me but it could be for you.

Home away from home

Big 3 bedroom house, a lot of space for a large family with 2 showers. Nice kitchen great undercover outdoor bbq area. Close to everything 100 metres to the beach walking distance to Moonta jetty. Everything you need just need to bring towels and bed sheets for 2 queen size beds and 1 single bed. Definitely recommend this property.

Worst night in 25 years of renting holiday homes my partner and myself couldn’t sleep from 2 am on

Someone was trying to scare if from 2 am Saturday morning till around 3 when you turned lights on inside banging from roller door but really intense I have not felt like that in 50 years it was as if someone was trying to get in, it upset the rest of the trip we couldn’t sleep or function, I tried to ring the owner on the Sunday night to try and get some insight, we liked the house but that experience left us both scarred you needed to be there to know where I’m coming from

Outside dusty & neglected. Inside has very dated decor. No condiments, teabags, coffee, milk, no soap, no shower wash - Nothing! No bedside lamps for reading. Wifi would be a plus as well as TV in lounge room. One bathroom, one shower in laundry and separate toilet. Not a beach house atmosphere nor welcoming.

Disappointed we had to take own linen/towels. No breakfast extras. Only one tv and in small room with only one couch. We even had to put out the bin. No later checkout option. Price needs to be lowered to make all of this acceptable. Also some reading lamps and light globes would be great.

A great place for a family stay

This is an excellent property in a great location. Beach is very close, less than a minute walk, and there is a ramp to access the beach. The jetty and Splash Town is about a 5 minute walk away. House was very clean and spacious with a fabulous outdoor area including great BBQ, large table and plenty of chairs Well equipped kitchen with loads of crockery, cutlery, cooking essentials, serving plates etc but I’d perhaps suggest some basic plastic bowls and jugs for food prep would be a useful addition. Excellent air conditioner, however people need to be aware that the 3rd bedroom (which had a double bed plus a fold out couch and a single bed mattress) is actually a converted garage and does NOT have the ducted air conditioning in it (a pedestal fan was provided). The option of using the “4th bedroom” could overcome this, but this means sleeping on the foldout couch in the TV/sitting room which opens onto the kitchen, so be aware its not a “private” area.

A very comfortable home

Very tidy and it had ample room for our boat. A well appointed house and well equipped kitchen. Two bathrooms, but unfortunately only 1 toilet.

Generally tidy property. Disappointed in lack of toiletries, bedding, no tea or coffee or milk. Outside bin had not been emptied in weeks. Spider webs, general lack of attention to cleaning outside. Blinds broken and in disrepair. Some bulbs blown. Despite guests paying a cleaning fee on top of the fees it looks poorly kept. looks like the property is lacking in upkeep and needs redecorating. Sorry to be negative, but property owner needs to lift the look of property considering the fees charged. It lacks lustre when compared with other holiday stays.
