About Nicola Loder
I am an artist with a love of good design, quality furnishings and idiosyncratic style. I love making spaces that help people feel at home and peaceful.
Nicola Loder purchased this Bed And Breakfast in 2007
Why Nicola Loder chose Castlemaine
I fell in love with this property ten years prior to owning it. I walked past it with my mother and told her it was my dream home and to let me know if it ever came on the market. Ten years later I was looking to move to the region from Melbourne and my father came over with a house circled in the local paper. He and my mother had been divorced for years so it was one of those lovely coincidences that makes you fell that it was meant to be.
What makes this Bed And Breakfast unique
Because we are on the top of a hill the views are in all directions. You get the last of the sun as it sets over the hills in the West and are the first to greet it's rays in the morning as it rises over town. It is a historic site and a lovely perspective to have over the town. Close enough to walk down the hill and yet slightly removed so as to feel more like a bit of a retreat.
