Loving lighthouse point

Our second year renting this beautiful property. It is well kept and was very clean upon check in. The amenities at lighthouse are so much fun for the entire family. Wi-Fi and smart Tv worked perfectly. Looking forward to our next stay.

The unit did not match the photos and was poorly maintained. As soon as we arrived and in the days that followed, we noticed the following: the walls were dirty, the carpet was stained, several light bulbs were burned out, the oven was filthy, and the cookware was badly scratched. So many basic kitchen items were missing that we had to buy them or bring them from our home. The patio was unusable due to weeds and dirty, mouldy cushions. We contacted the host immediately and sent several emails but received no response until we contacted helo centre a week later. Although the host eventually replied, they offered no compensation. As a vacation rental host for the past 10 years, I know the standard guests should expect especially for the listed price. This property was so poorly maintained and very disappointing. I would not recommend this property or this host. I hope this review helps future guests avoid the same experience.
