Hellyer Sands is a spectacular, fully self-contained beachfront retreat where every room captures the magic of the coastline. With the tide in or out, the view is ever-changing and always stunning.

Perfectly positioned in a peaceful pocket of Tasmania’s North West Coast, this spacious four-bedroom home is just 45 minutes from Burnie, within easy reach of Wynyard, Table Cape, Smithton and the historic village of Stanley. It’s the perfect base for day trips to nearby gardens, waterfalls, picnic spots, The Nut, Highfield Historic Site and the wild beauty of Tarkine.

From each bedroom, it’s just steps to your own pristine stretch of sand. Wander the beach, explore coastal bush tracks or walk to the historic sea caves within Rocky Cape National Park. When it’s time to unwind, relax on the balcony, fire up the BBQ hut and soak in the endless horizon. Great fishing is right at your doorstep and there’s even a man cave with a cosy wood heater for cooler evenings.

A fully equipped kitchen, open living area, modern furniture, electric blankets to all beds, free WiFi, washing machine and dryer ensures you won't need a thing! Just bring your food, settle in, enjoy your private, fully fenced yard with a gate to the beach and take in the beautiful views that surround you.

Everything there that you needed good location ,great area for children and dogs. Bbq good set up .Close to Smithton and Stanley and plenty of places of interest to go and see. Just stay there and relax at home or the beach.We all had a lovely relaxing week of holiday.

Wonderful stay and very relaxing house and surroundings. Highly recommended. The views are amazing, with great beach access. The house is really well equipped - relatively close to Stanley and attractions as well as Rocky Cape National Park. One thing we’ve found useful in other properties is an Information Folder about various things in the house (eg recycling, any specific things to do on departure).

Wonderful Home with beach at your back door

Fantastic house with stunning beach at the back door. Wonderful location. House very dog friendly with a fully fenced backyard. Kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking utensils you would normally find in your house. Very clean and comfortable. Each of the four bedrooms were great - three had there own sitting area and TV's. Will definitely return for another great holiday here in the future. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Really loved the house and main bedroom overlooking the river/sea. House practical and spacious and a real home feeling. Loved swimming in the river and watching the high tide come in as well as travelling around Nothern Tasmania. Kayak/SUP available would be awesome! Thank you though was really lovely x

I enjoyed my time at Hellyer Sands so much. The house is beautiful, clean and occupies a prime position for views and accessibility to the sands and safe waters for leisure activities and birdwatching from the deck.
