Wayne and Mardi were fantastic throughout the whole process. The place was beautiful, comfortable and cosy. It was so lovely to have a proper B&B experience, it is such a rare thing these days to find accommodation with the care and effort that Wayne and Mardi put into our stay. We are grateful to them giving us a wonderful sanctuary to come back to after a long day. We hope to return again in the future.

Nicely presented. Host very friendly and obliging. The breakfast supplies lovely. Nice covered BBQ area. Would prefer to see a Tea and Coffee Station in the lounge area rather than in the bedroom.

Mardi and Wayne have created something extremely special at Ambers. We felt simultaneously right at home and wonderfully pampered. The house was beautifully set up for us to spend time reading or working alone and then to come together again for meals and games. And our dog gave us the impression he’d never been happier … the yard was just the right size with just the right number of things to explore. Mardi and Wayne were warm and welcoming and continued clear communication throughout our stay. The food they provided was delicious and a real treat. We’ll definitely visit again!

We really enjoyed our time in Sawtell. The accommodation was very comfortable and our hosts went to enormous effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. This was indeed a very rare find and thank you for all the local information and tips.
