The location was good. The place was very clean with lots of space and nice facilities. Overall, it was a nice place to spend several days while in Tokyo (with good AC). The only thing was there was some miscommunication and difficulties during our check in process where the original room assigned to us was not cleaned and we had to be moved to a different room. Given that we were jet lagged and there was some delay in the messages going through the VRBO messaging service, this did start off our trip on a little bit of a sour note. However, it was addressed that night and the host compensated a night of our stay due to the duress it caused.

The place is in a great location close to everything. They have a really good cafe across the street and the unit was perfect for my group of 3.

The apartment was in a great central location and I was surprised just how large it was. The bedrooms were really big so there was plenty of room for our luggage and washing etc. I liked that there were little cute restaurants and coffee shops all within walking distance and it was very close to the train station. It was clean and had everything we needed.

It was conveniently located, however broken ramps/tiles on entryway, no pots or pans whatsoever despite having a stove, no cooking utensils, no seasoning even salt, the tv in the smaller bedroom did not work either antenna or streaming, only two towels privided despite 4 beds.

Location was misleading after confirming booking. Walls are thin and you can hear everything. Location was 10/10 amazing place to be close to so many train lines and nightlife.

This is great for small groups. It’sVery small. Walls are thin so you can hear everything. This is perfect if you’re planning to be outAll day and just go home and sleep. Also, hard to find at first. Ask for pictures to show taxi or yourself. We got a local taxi and they found it hard to find.

Perfectly Situated

The property perfectly situated in Shinjuku - very close to Shin Okubu - but also close enough for a short walk to Shinjuku station - and from there; everywhere! There was a laundry just around the corner, and a “tattoo friendly” onsen minutes away. We love our stay here

Great spot in Shinjuku

Spacious apartment that comfortably sleeps 4 and possibly up to 6. Great location, friendly host, and easy check in process. About a 10-15 minute walk to Shinjuku station, with plenty of things to do in a very close vicinity. Would stay again.

Great spot for a stay in Shinjuku!

This property was great! 8 minutes from the Shin-Okubo station which took us to where we needed to go. Easy walk to all the cool things in Shinjuku. The rooms are spacey enough for four of us. We enjoyed the vibe. Simple and comfortable!

Fantastic base for exploring Tokyo

We stayed here with our two young adult sons and it was perfect. The home had plenty of space for us, and was clean and confortable. The location was also perfect, in a quiet spot but only a couple blocks from the bustling Shinjuku neighborhoods. Also very close to a couple main metro lines so getting around town was quite easy. We will seek this spot again next time we are in Tokyo!

Great spot in Tokyo

My nephew and I stayed here and enjoyed the privacy of the 2 bedrooms. There is no common area except the kitchen/dining area, but since we were out and about all day, all we needed was a place to sleep and have breakfast! Very good value

Great location and space.

We enjoyed our stay here. Although near busy Shinjuku Okubo it is set back in the side streets so lovely and quiet. Very comfy beds and nice linen etc. easy walk to stations and many restaurants etc to choose from right out your door. It had all the amenities we needed including washing machine. Host was very responsive. I would stay here again.

Great for family

This apartment suit our family well. The rooms are good size and the kitchen and common area are small which we don't care about anyway. The owner is also very responsive.

Alex is very good host, always responded our enquiries in a second. I stayed with my family in this apartment for 8 days. The location is in the center of shin okubo and only take 8 minutes to shin okubo station and a lot of spots for restaurants.

The host let us check-in early (very early) which was super helpful. Supplied toilet paper, towels, trashbags, tissue and kitchen supplies. The pictures and description were accurate. There was some mold in several places, we couldn't get the washer to work, and the heating unit in the front bedroom didn't work properly all the time. Some of the issues may have been human error though. The location was about 10 minutes (walking) north of the expected location, but maybe I just misunderstood how VRBO shows the location of the property? We were still within walking distance of a bunch of fun things to do and about a 9 minute walk from a train station, so it was okay that the walk was a little longer than expected. Would definitely stay again!
