About this property

Lakeview Cabin in the heart of downtown Minocqua, WI

Location, location, location. This two bedroom house is situated on Lake Minocqua and is mere blocks from downtown! While close to the heart of the city, the cabin has scenic views, lake access and is backed by a large wooded area (so it would not be a surprise to see a family of deer during your stay). You are within minutes of many of the local restaurants, bars as well as retail shops. It is also walking distance to the local beach and water sports rentals.

"Lincoln's Lakeside" has been outfitted with rustic style furnishings to bring you right into the coziness and charm of the Northwoods. The living room features a fireplace as well as large windows that look directly out into Schoolhouse Bay. You also have lake views from both bedrooms. You can be on Lake Minocqua in seconds as your private dock is just steps away (directly across the road). After a day out on the water or around town, wind down on the large lake view patio which features a grill and fire pit with outdoor seating and lighting. This house is versatile and can accommodate parties as large as six, whether looking for a family retreat, fishing trip, golf weekend or getaway with friends. An air conditioner will be installed for the summer of 2021 and beyond. Additionally for your comfort, each room has a fan and screened windows that open.

Great Location and Property

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and absolutely love it. Walking distance to downtown and a private boat slip made this the perfect choice for us. Also the house is stocked with everything you will need plus extras like 4 bicycles, 2 kayaks, a grill, a fire pit, and several other extras!

Excellent house, great location!

Had a girl's weekend and we were all impressed with the house. Great views, walking distance to downtown area, and very clean! Plus we were able to bring our furry family member! Daniel was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

Great getaway

What a wonderful home! It was perfect for what we needed-a relaxing place on the lake, with great amenities. We were so close to town and the beach, and would highly recommend the Bearskin Trail!

Great for boating and walking to town

The property was very nice with everything you need with a high attention to detail by the owner. We appreciated having a private dock for our boat, the ability to walk downtown to shop and eat, and a great view of the lake. We had a small family get together and it was perfect.

Wonderful Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Lincoln's Lakeside cottage. The owner is so easy to work with. He is very responsive and quickly answers questions. The cottage offers a perfect location to enjoy Minocqua. We most enjoy the front porch - both for coffee in the morning and cocktails in the late afternoon. Daniel...thank you for being the perfect host. We will be back again.

Best VRBO in Minocqua!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Lincoln Cabin. We found the house to be very clean, well stocked with everything we needed, and very close to everything we wanted to do in the area. Daniel, our host, was always very pleasant to work with and bent over backwards to accommodate our arrival and stay. I grew up in Minocqua and the Lincoln Cabin is a wonderful place to stay when returning to my "hometown". This was the second time we stayed here and I will always check its availability before checking anywhere else when we return to the area. Thank you, Daniel, for a very nice place to stay in Minocqua.

Another great stay!

This is a wonderful home in a fantastic location! Very well maintained with all the amenities you could want for a successful visit. Cozy, convenient and clean! Our annual trip to the northwoods was made even better by making this our final destination in the evening. Beautiful views from just about every window and within walking distance (even in the winter) to most downtown locations. The property owner, Daniel is very helpful and accommodating. Always a pleasure working with him!

Perfect Location, Perfect 4th of July!

This was one of the best 4th of July's we have had and this wonderful home had so much to do with that! From the location to all the amenities this well maintained home had, we couldn't have asked for more. The home is very clean and had everything you could need or want to never have to leave. And yet, it was a quick walk to many area activities and restaurants. The owner was very helpful and attentive. We definitely will be back! Thanks so much Daniel :)

Very nice and efficient interior, many extra's available (upscale kitchen utilities, water toys, outside fire pit, outdoor Weber grill available, decent dock for your boat, 20 steps from the house, etc. You won't get tired on the lake views from the front patio or the front living room windows. Couldn’t have asked for more!

From the moment I booked our stay to the moment we checked out everything was superb. Our host reached out right away upon me booking, promptly checked in the week of and day before our arrival, and even texted us to see if there was anything we needed while we were there. You can tell they take pride in their house and value their guests.The house fully equipped with plenty of towels, extra bedding, fully stocked kitchen, cupboards with plenty of dinnerware and glassware. I can’t think of anything they missed. ( I didn’t find a cookie sheet - that’s all) I wish we would have been able to enjoy the bikes in kayaks, but we were there too early in the season for the weather to be enjoyable enough for that. Excellent location for being close to the downtown strip and each morning we visited “Bottle and Bean” coffee shop, which was within walking distance, for their delightful drinks. We loved our stay and had a very enjoyable time with family.! Thank you so much for opening your home away from home to us!

Another great Memorial Day Weekend!

We had another great stay at this cabin! The place is very clean, organized and has everything you need. The owner is very nice, responsive and checked-in to see if we had everything we needed, as well as when we left. We used their new firepit, which was excellent! We walked up to the area restaurants, bars and shops and spent time fishing off of the pier where we caught about 10 fish (blue gills, crappies, sunfish). We also went out on Lake Minocqua and Tomahawk Lake (with a guide we arranged) and caught about 15 fish, mostly crappies and large/small mouth bass. We spotted a varletry of wildlife from our pier including bald eagles and ducks and of course the deer in the backyard. Our last night, we stayed in and watched some movies and shows on Netflix, very relaxing as well. We have been coming up here annually and have a wonderful time each year!

Everything was exceptional , easy walk to the Bearskin Trail with our dog and then letting him swim at the park. Every morning just looking at the water with my cup of coffee very peaseful
