Location, location, location!! A little piece of paradise right on beautiful Mangrove Bight in Roatan's West End. This modern one bedroom suite was recently renovated to include a full kitchen, new furniture in the living area, renovated bathroom, and an expansive private covered outdoor space right on the water. We provide kayaks and a paddleboard for guest use, the bay in front of the property is perfect for kayaking and paddleboarding! The suite is in the lower floor of our home Casa Amarilla where we would love to have you come and be our guests! The location is very quiet as it is nestled between the mangroves right on the bay, yet it is only a short two minute walk to the heart of the main tourist area of West End. No need for a rental car with plenty of top notch restaurants and dive shops, and the beautiful swimming beach at Half Moon Bay right down the road.

The suite is 630 sq. ft. including a large bedroom with king size bed, large bathroom with walk in shower, and living room with full kitchen. The large covered outdoor space right on the water has just been expanded and completed with porcelain tile. You also have access to our private dock which is perfect for sunbathing, stargazing, or watching the sunrise while sipping your morning coffee. The added convenience for divers is that you don't have to hike your gear to and from the dive shop as they provide pick up and drop p off service right from our private dock!

Cable and high speed internet are included.

We want to make your stay with us relaxing, care free and enjoyable. We provide pickup service to and from the airport for stays of 7 nights or more, and are happy to offer assistance with booking activities during your stay with us. What does the ideal tropical vacation mean for you: diving the world's second largest coral reef, sunbathing on one of the world's top beaches, zip lining through the jungle, paddleboarding in beautiful tropical waters, world renowned sport fishing, happening night life, or simply relaxing in paradise? Roatan has it all and this suite is the perfect location to put you in the heart of the action, while providing a scenic peaceful escape from it all.

We had a wonderful week here. The views and the grounds are beautiful! Spent a lot of time outside - either on the dock or the patio. Very quiet and peaceful. Loved that it was walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. Having the kayaks to use was an added bonus. Great communication with the hosts. Would highly recommend staying here!

Our host, Christina, was so responsive to our questions which made our stay very comfortable. The place has beautiful tropical plants, great dock and beautiful views. We were able to walk to town. A pick up is available on your private dock to go into town. We used it to have a boat take us to West Beach for snorkeling and back. We loved that our stay of 8 nights came with airport pick up and drop off. Our driver even stopped at a grocery store on our way which made our stay so easy and convenient! Loved our stay!

Beautiful Casa Amarilla

We spent two weeks at Casa Amarilla and loved the property. It was well designed and perfect for two people. The yard was beautiful, well maintained and the view on the bay was very relaxing. Restaurants and the half-moon bay were at a walking distance from the property. Deana and Mark were extremely helpful and very patient with our questions. We highly recommend the Casa Amarilla to anyone who want to spend a comfortable and yet quiet time in Roatan.

Beautiful Serene setting

Wow!! Deana and Marks place was stunning. We were on a completely private oasis without a care in the world. Our wonderful hosts were extremely responsive to any and all questions. We have always loved to travel to tropical destinations, and had been searching for the perfect place to find a home where we could create a great experience for our guests. Vancouver Island had been our home for many years, it is very beautiful and we had a great life there. It just doesn't offer the flip flop life we craved. Our first trip to Roatan was early in 2015 and we immediately fell in love. The beautiful coral reef surrounding the entire island creates the best snorkeling and diving that we have ever experienced, it also creates beautiful turquoise warm water for swimming and simply sitting on the white sand enjoying the view. The local people were so friendly and welcoming and the food was great! We knew that we had found our new home! Although it was hard to leave our friends and family, we have never looked back. We would love to have you come and share our little piece of paradise with us.

Why they chose this property

We are so happy and grateful to have found Roatan and our beautiful home, Casa Amarilla. It is the perfect location for us, as it offers the best of both worlds. Being waterfront on Mangrove Bight, it provides peace, tranquility and stunning views; yet it is a short 2 minute walk to Half Moon bay beach and all the dive shops, restaurants, shops, and nightlife in West End. The suite on the main floor of the home is the perfect space for guests to have plenty of privacy just steps from the ocean. We knew right away that this was the perfect home for us and a perfect location for our guests.

What makes this property unique

Watching the sunrise each morning over the mountain across the Bight as the fisherman head out for their daily catch is such an amazing benefit of this property. The stargazing at night is equally stunning. You can arrange to be picked up right on our dock for many activities here. If you are a diver, there are so many great dive shops to choose from a short walk from the property. If you like to enjoy the night life, no need to worry about driving or getting a taxi after having a few drinks as it's a very short walk home.
