Tranquil and enjoyable short break

Amazing getaway

An amazing property situated on a working farm with privacy and views, conveniently located only a short drive to Margaret River.The property is clean, modern and spacious, all the features you will need, perfect for a family getaway.Our host was pleasure to deal with, highly recommended.

Great property, very nicely set up. Just really quite isolated and not walking distance to anything

Probably our favourite property we stayed at on our down south trip. Outdoor area was set up really nice and Was gated for the dog, which was awesome Very serene, beautiful place to stay. Only complaint would be that even to get a coffee, you had to drive to a coffee shop to get anything. Nothing was really walking distance and there wasn't a coffee machine or anything (not that we found) at the premises. The 2nd bathroom Was quite unattractive and looked like a disabled bathroom. Ie shower, toilet and everything just open and weirdly done. We all used the ensuite bathroom for this reason. Awesome that the bedrooms had blackout curtains - this is a big deal for our holidays... our family is very light sensitive and gets up wayyyy too early if there's too much sunlight coming in the room.... which ends up really ruining your trip as everyone is too tired to do anything. Would definitely stay here again though!

A lovely staycay 🥰

We had a beautiful stay with our family at the property! Matt came and greeted us when we arrived and gave us some great recommendations of places to check out nearby! The property was great for our pup - she loved the lambs and cows and all the open space to run free 🥰 Sheila was such a great host and we'll definitely be back and recommending to our friends!

From the moment we arrived we felt like it was a home away from home. It was far enough away for peace and quiet, but close enough to anything we needed or wanted to do. Highly recommend and can't wait to book again!

Loved it !

Sheila welcomed us when we arrived and we were able to ask a lot of questions about the property and surrounds, very friendly, the house was amazing ! We loved being able to go into the paddock with the cows, walking around the property through the forest and so close to everything. We will 100% be rebooking for another girls trip. Thank you Sheila !

Had the most amazing stay. The accomodation is such a high quality and has everything you need for your stay. If your travelling with dogs it is the best pet friendly accomodation I have ever experienced. Good fences and plenty of yard space to play and explore. We will be recommending it and will be back ourselves

Home away from home

Lovely location just far away from the other chalets. Sheila gave us a hello call and was very friendly. Bed was comfy as are the pillows, I even took one home by mistake....I gave it back. Every appliance was first class, was expecting the toaster to even have a bite of my toast. Will be back.

Fantastic Dog Friendly Stay

We had a wonderful stay at Redgate and didn’t want to leave! The accommodation was spotless, had everything you could possibly need and was very dog friendly. Fantastic location for families with dogs

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Redgate Forest Retreat. Sheila is a very welcoming host. The property is very well maintained, the home is well equipped and very clean, beds are comfortable and the living areas spacious. The property is fully fenced allowing our dog to roam freely within the yard. We loved the views, the BBQ gazebo and the local shops especially breakfast at Yard Byrd. We would love to come back for our next MR getaway.

Relaxing farm stay

Beautiful and relaxing location. The house was very clean, comfortable. Beds And shower were excellent. Perfect place for families or group of friends. Communication with Sheila was quick. We felt welcomed with her visit. The only thing we missed was a better coffee (there were “coffee tea bags”). I would take my own coffee and coffee machine next time and some extra tea towels (only one available).
