About this property

Relax in comfort and style at Monrepos! Beautifully furnished with a warm, homely ambience, you will enjoy every moment of your getaway. Relax in front of the wood fire in the living area, or out in the fully fenced gardens which your fur baby will love to explore!
Monrepos is a 2 storey home, the generous master suite has a TV, plenty of wardrobe space and a large ensuite with bath! Downstairs you will find the other 2 bedrooms - 1 is a queen and the other has 2 king singles which can be pushed together to make a king sized bed. Both bedrooms have small skylights, so they are lovely bright rooms. The main bathroom is nestled between the bedrooms and has a large walk-in shower, vanity and toilet.
The open plan living area has new leather couches, R/C aircon, fireplace (BYO wood), Smart TV with Netflix and adjoins the dining area with the Rennai gas heater and seating for 6 plus 3 bar stools at the kitchen bench. The modern kitchen offers all the amenities you would need with electric cooktop and oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge plus there is a coffee plunger if you love your coffee. The laundry offers a front-loading washing machine and dryer.
The living areas link to the leafy back yard and BBQ courtyard where you will find the Webber BBQ and outdoor furniture.

All in all, this is a wonderful home just waiting for you, your family or friends to enjoy!

YES, we love Fur Babies! Up to 2 well behaved dogs are welcome at no additional cost. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds. Please bring your own dog bedding, bowls, towels etc. Please do not allow them to go on the furniture.

FIREPLACE:
Wood is not supplied for the fireplace, please bring your own. There is a Rennai gas heater plus R/C air conditioners in the living area and all bedrooms.

PARKING:
Monrepos is on the corner of Old Geelong Road and Fellows Road - carparking is on the Old Geelong Road side of the house, it is not off street and there is parking for 2 cars. The house faces Fellows Road but it's address is 26 Old Geelong Road.

Montrepos

Montrepos is a very well-appointed and styled property. The kitchen has everything you could need for a short stay and the house is very comfortably furnished. The negatives for us, and they were game changers; the skylights in the bedroom rooves are like bright lights above your head that wake you at dawn and if that doesn’t do the job, the traffic roaring down Fellows rd from dawn will make sure you are fully awake. Probably more of an issue for the upstairs bedroom. The noise is not noticeable from downstairs, and the downstairs living area is a beautiful sanctuary. It’s such a pity that those elements spoil an otherwise fabulous property.

Comfortable and cosy

The property is well equipped and everything worked well. It is a perfect cool weather relaxation stay. Will be very hot in summer. Location is on the main road to the golf club and surf beach so is quite noisy and busy with traffic. The house needs a good spring clean and the rotting grapefruit that had fallen in the courtyard made the bbq space unappealing. The garden setting lovely and the kitchen well equipped. The hosts are generous with daily supplies and we enjoyed our stay.

It's a sheer delight to come and stay

It's a wonderful property in terms of location (equal distance between Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff) AND the house has absolutely everything in regards to kitchen, bathroom and general amenities. Stayed 03/09/2023 to 11/09/2023

Perfect winter house

Just enjoyed a 3 day stay with friends in this well fitted out house in a great location! Access to a fire in the living room and split systems throughout meant we were cosy and cheery in the cold wet weather !!

Excellent stay! Great house and location for kids and dog!

The place was super clean and just as advertised. Gardens are lovely and so manh spaces to sit and enjoy. Great location for walks or short drive to the Main Street for food and shops.
