We had a wonderful stay; the place was big enough for three families with small children two grandparents to all feel like we had a corner to retreat to, and space to gather in as well. Scott was communicative and helpful. The well-appointed kitchen was much appreciated. The house was clean and organized. The only thing that was a little tricky was the lack of soundproofing throughout the house -- most of the walls don't come up to the ceiling so noise travelled easily.

We enjoyed Algonac very much! The house is an amazing architectural wonder and it is located in a beautiful setting. We had a great time playing games with the kids in the spacious yard. We saw deer every day. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed for our group. We went to the lake daily and appreciated the use of the locker there. Scott was very responsive to our needs. We would highly recommend this house!!

Beautiful Home

Our family had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. The house has a wonderful open living space with enough room for everyone. Having multiple sleeping spaces each with at least one full bathroom was very nice. We would absolutely stay here again!

this is a mountain masterpiece the home is so comfortable and at the same time beautiful and luxurious. It is the 7th time we have stayed there over the past 15 years and I would like to return again and again

The home is beautiful , located a short distance from the beach area . It is peaceful and quiet . Beautifully furnished it is the perfect location for a family gathering , with yard space , fireplaces outside and in as well as screened porch areas . Our family has always enjoyed our time in this home and will return again .

Gorgeous Mountain Retreat

Our 3rd time staying here. Always a great. We keep spending more time in the house instead of venturing too far out although we do that too. Just love the house. So many nice areas - screened in second floor porch, living room with fireplace, large kitchen and dining area. Just love it.

A Hunters delight

Everything about the property is just perfect. The large living room is beautiful. My group loved hanging out by the fire and talking every night. The kitchen has everything you need. The house has more than enough spots to sleep for a large group. And who doesn’t love heated floors when you wake up!!! My group will be back next season for sure.

Perfect for family.

This was our 3rd stay at Algonac. We enjoy being off the beaten path with only a 5 minute drive to beach. With 5 kids and 6 adults and a dog or two, it is a great space. Wifi is spotty but not a big deal since we are on vacation and enjoy the disconnect. Wonderful outside area for kids to just run and play. Nice evening walks down the lane and road. Always see deer which is exciting. House has lots of sleeping spaces and bathrooms galore. The screened porches are spaces to relax with a morning coffee or afternoon cocktail or to play competitive family games. It is an easy house to enjoy.

This is a beautifully maintained and very comfortable place to stay in Eagles Mere. The structure of the house itself was gorgeous, and it was well-stocked with games, kids books and toys, and cooking supplies and utensils. There were so many fun nooks to explore. The temperature of the house was also perfect despite the hot and humid weather. Scott, the owner was very responsive. Highly recommended for a multigenerational family get together!
