Comfortable and convenient! Property had everything we needed for our family weekend. We were able to dock our pontoon overnight and the kids enjoyed fishing right out the front door. Property was clean and communication was great. It’s about 30 min drive into Minocqua, but not a big deal for us since we had everything we needed at the cabin.

Beautiful cottage but needs a separate picnic table and grill. Slope going to the water was steeper then it looked on the photos

A great place to stay!Classic up north style with great furnishings. Lovely, well-appointed kitchen.Beautiful views from huge windows in living/dining/kitchen area.Comfortable leather seating for 6 in living area and plenty of seating for dining.Everything nice and clean.Nice access to dock and fire ring. There were 2 different renters in the cabin next to ours while we were there, but we weren’t really even aware of them. The owner was very responsive to the couple questions we had.Would stay here again!

We have stayed in this property several times and it continues to be a winner! Home is lovely and comfortable. There is nice area to relax outside and pier available. We have a family cabin nearby, but not large enough to accommodate everyone so I rent this home and the one located on the same property (as noted in the description) for my family. It is perfect if you have a larger group. If you aren't familiar with the area, the Pike Lake Chain has great fishing and beautiful, northwoods vibe. Several laid back places to eat nearby and Minocqua is a great town with lots of shops, bars and restaurants.

Gorgeous!

This cabin is just beautiful. The interior is very new and provides a true cabin experience. Access to the lake is outstanding which provides great fishing and recreational opportunities. The best part we felt was the responsiveness of the owner. He was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We recommend this place to anyone looking to get away in the great northern outdoors of Wisconsin!

The property was warm and inviting. Bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. The view out the front window with a cup of coffee is inspiring! Access to the lake and other attractions was perfect for ATV or boating. The owner did a good job of getting the property opened for us. It was great to be able to have pets. Though, guests need to be cautioned to pick up pet waste.

Beautiful, cozy cabin

We were here for a fisheree and found this gem to stay at. The views were spectacular and the beds were comfortable. The cabin has everything you need including laundry! And the location is perfect. You are secluded, yet minutes away from some local bars and restaurants. If you like to cook or bring your own meals, this cabin has everything you need. From pots and pans to plates and silverware. I will definitely book here again when in the area.

Overall good. The slope from the house to the dock is very steep, the pictures were misleading. We chose this property because the pictures led to believe it was a more flat walk out. It’s an hill. Our mom could not walk down with great fear of falling. So that sucked. Beds were comfy!

From the owner:"Hi, we do our best to make everybody fully knowledgeable of the property and all the amenities. I’m so glad you liked it and I apologize about anything regarding the slope of the hill. We have so many pictures available for your view that clearly show the slope which is not that steep, and we are always available for questions before booking. I’m glad you like the new beds. Thanks for staying with us."

We were here for our annual girls weekend. The cabin was very cozy and well stocked. There is a very nice pier, from which my daughter caught a nice northern pike! I liked that we were less than a half hour from shopping in Minocqua, and there were plenty of places nearby to get dinner. We had a fish fry at Moose Jaw resort, and lunch at the Black Bear Bar & Grill, both of which had great food, atmosphere, and friendly staff. The area that I felt this place could improve would be from a better outdoor space. There is a concrete patio with a picnic table and charcoal grill, but it would have been nice to have some comfortable patio furniture to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Overall, I give this place a 9/10, and would definitely recommend!

Very Relaxing and Beautiful Stay!

I booked this property a month ago but had to come back to review it because it was so nice! I meant to write this back when we checked out but we were in the middle of a cross country road trip. This was the perfect place for some R&R along our way. The cabin itself is gorgeous and was expertly decorated for fall (it looked like an interior designer came into the property!) This property gives you a very cozy and welcoming feeling with the decor, fireplace and large windows over looking the lake. There was no one renting the second cottage when we were there so it felt like a very secluded stay. Very peaceful! The owner Tom was very responsive and helpful making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely book here again!

Great winter getaway

We had a great stay at this wonderful house. It’s a beautiful house in a great location. Remote but still close to some restaurants and a quick easy drive to Minocqua for shopping and groceries. We walked on the lake a few times and played in the snow with our dog. We enjoyed fires every evening in the stone fireplace while streaming movies on the large tv. The beds are comfy and the kitchen well stocked with pots and other items needed to cook. We had a cooked a few meals but also enjoyed a few of the restaurants that are just a few minutes down the road. The owner was super easy to work with via phone and text when we had a few questions and worked with us to get an early checkin. Over all amazing stay. We would definitely stay at this house again.

Very nice cabin and excellent location on the lake.

The night we got to the cabin the manager had the heat turned up and had unlocked the cabin for us. All was great until we wanted to shower and found out that there was no hot water. After looking around we found that the gas supply going to the water heater had been turned off. We lit the water heat. We did have hot water the next morning. We used the cabin for snowmobiling and our group had two trailers over 20 feet so parking was a slight problem.

Some surprise

Poor inventory of supplies ( no charcoal, extra toilet paper, paper toweling - 3 trash bags ). Couldn’t find the bbq grill. Poor selection of cooking supplies (spice selection poor). Access door on north side of building could not be opened (safety hazard). Windows need regular cleaning/washing. No firewood for fire pit or extra for fireplace (a few pieces).
