This was a wonderful spot to stay with the family. Rooms were clean and nice. Toddler loved the games. Plenty of firewood, lots of heaters to keep the house warm. Our only complaint has nothing to do with the host, there were two houses next door occupied by a large group of young men who partied until 4 am each night of our stay. If you have the same problem, note that the king bedroom has thinner walls, so any sensitive sleepers should choose a different room where the noise can barely be heard.Another tip is that there is no grocery shop nearby, so do your shopping in Tumut on the way up. Otherwise it was perfect. Highly recommend the Yarrangobilly Caves, they were a highlight!!

We do an annual golf trip with 6 friends to Talbingo and have stayed at Rose Cottage every year and every year they fail to disappoint. Amazing hosts and an amazing house. Thanks again guys, we’ll see you again next year.

We had a wonderful stay at Talbingo. The property was clean, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. It was the perfect base for our snow trip, with the slopes only about 40 minutes away. There’s also so much to do around town, which made our stay even better. We only wish we had stayed longer! Everything was great, and we would happily return.

Rose Cottage

A very comfortable cottage, well set up. Great location for exploring Yarrangobilly National Park. Really enjoyed the fire pit. Country Club worth the visit.

The house was very nice and comfortable, we had ten people staying in the house and found there was enough room. Every one enjoyed the stay. The fire pit was fun for the children, toasting marshmallows. It has a very relaxing out look which is great for relaxing. It was a great holiday for one and all!

Luxury in a great location

The photos really don't do it justice. The house is large, modern, immaculate, and incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed our stay, close to the snow, lake and a short walk to the local shops. A great holiday house!

Great location

Rose Cottage was a perfect choice for our group. Outdoor deck is amazing with golf course views and the large outdoor kitchen was amazing. Lots of different areas for family to relax in and very comfortable bedding. Great kitchen with modern appliances and plenty of pantry items too! Overall a great place to stay.

Home away from home

Rose cottage has all the comforts of home. We had a lovely stay, enjoyed both the indoor fire and toasting marshmallows around the fire pit. Highly recommend.

The perfect weekend getaway

Great location, clean and spacious. The house comes with an abundance of great indoor and outdoor areas, perfect for a weekend away with friends or a week with family. The back patio is phenomenal for outdoor dining, BBQ’s after coming off the water. Not to forget, the house comes with every utensil you need!
