Beautiful stay

Great location, loved the quirky ’beach shack’ feel but very comfortable for a winter stay. Lovely to be able to wake up with a view to the Hazards. Perfect stay for a family with young children.

Lovely & comfortable

Perfect place to stay with a young family (kids aged 8 and 12), had everything we needed. Loved relaxing on the front deck in the afternoons after exploring the walls. Great location.

Lovely bright property in a great location

The property was lovely. Big windows in the lounge/dining room brought in lots of light. Great location.

The house is in a great spot, close to the National Park and facilities of Coles Bay. The lodgings were comfortable and inviting and there was no one around so it was very quiet. Would definitely stay there again.

House is clean, adequate and somewhat "barebones." Kitchen is well-equipped with pots, pans, cutlery etc but has a very small electric stove/oven. Great for small, uncomplicated meals like pasta. Grill was too dirty to use. Beds were comfortable and the deck is very nice, lots of natural light in the house. It worked out well for our 2 night stay in the area, but I felt it was sort of expensive for what it was.

Perfect Family Holiday

For us, this cute, sunny little gem was the perfect base to explore the spectacular scenery of Coles Bay + Freycinet National Park. We could glimpse the Hazards from the sunny west facing deck (an umbrella would be handy), walk to the beach + ice creamery and take a short drive into the National Park to visit the most spectacular beaches and scenery of the Hazards. The house is small, but was no trouble for our two small families to enjoy, and we enjoyed its clean, old school charm. We can highly recommend!
