Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. There was plenty of room for our tall family and we all slept well in the comfortable beds. We were able to use this location as a home base for exploring western Ireland.
We loved our stay - the kids loved the yard with the cows and I loved having all the necessities and two bathrooms! Theresa was a fantastic host and checked in to make sure we had all we needed. She was also very responsive to requests.
Great place. Comfortable and in location suitable for exploring southern and western counties.Lovely to return to after a day's exploring. Best sleep we had for a while.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sporting Lodge! The hosts met us with keys, a tour, and homemade scones! It was perfect for our family of 6 to have a home base while exploring southwest Ireland for a few days.

Can’t begin to describe how wonderful this cottage is. Peaceful, beautiful, felt like home. Theresa was an awesome host, the tea and scones upon our arrival were totally unexpected. If you’re coming to Limerick County, look no farther.

Five biker friends had a great time. Property had plenty of room and was very clean and tidy.Location was ideal for what we needed, although the weather was pretty lousy, but we can’t help that. We’re definitely stay there again with our hesitation. Lovely couple who own it they popped by our first night just to make sure everything was okay.

Hi Mike I was so sorry that the weather didn’t work out for you after the month of sunshine we just had. If you are back again we will do our best to fix that 😜Your bike trip would have been o much better in the sunshine
My wife and I had the pleasure of introducing Ireland to her parents by staying at Theresa's beautiful home. There were fresh baked scones, butter, jam and milk on arrival which was very welcoming. It was spotlessly clean and fully equipped for a fabulous stay. I would highly reccomend a visit! Thank younTheresa, we hope to come again soon!
Perfect in every way. If you’re debating where to stay, this is the place. Wonderful house and we were traveling with two teenagers and a nine year old. They loved it as did my wife and I. Owners were great people!! Place was spotless and the town of Adare was a short drive away and a wonderful small town w great restaurants and delightful pubs. Can’t wait to go back!

Enjoyed our stay in the country. We stayed 3 days and toured the surrounding area from the cliffs of moher to ring of Kerry. Rooms and beds very comfy and shower warm and good pressure. It took some learning to get the hang of the water/shower system in Ireland so written notes would be helpful. Didn’t use washer and dryer since confusing how to use. Loved the cows! Very fun to watch.

Hi April Glad you enjoyed your stay and well take on board your suggestions re written instructions to avoid any difficulties with appliances . Kind Regards Theresa
This lodge was located in a peaceful great location to access many different sites. We visited Killarney, The Ring of Kerry, Adare, Bunratty, and Knockpatrick Gardens (these are really close and private gardens so call before you go). Our hosts were so welcoming and even gave us a bottle of wine for our anniversary. Communication was excellent and we were able to easily find the property using google maps.
This house was the perfect choice for our group of five. We loved the convenience of having two and half bathrooms and a clothes washer and dryer. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets and farm surroundings.
The owner had baked fresh scones and left milk in the fridge for our arrival. She also responded to a few questions we had promptly throughout our stay.
My husband and I enjoy quiet properties with good opportunities for walks. Having stores and a great restaurant within walking distance is even better. This property had all that and more. Views on all sides, quiet and so comfortable. Theresa is a great host... It took us no time to feel right at home. Be sure to visit The Stand for a tasty meal and entertainment. This is a five star property and we'll return as soon as we get the chance.

Hi Thomas It was wonderful to meet you both and delighted you enjoyed your stay. I have to apologise that my star rating did not show as I intended as for me it was 5 stars all the way but for some reason the app did not carry it over . I do hope we see you back again and enjoy the rest of your stay in Ireland. Theresa
We had a great stay at Sporting Lodge. Theresa and Kevin are great hosts, maintaining great communication and making us feel very welcome indeed. The property is very spacious and well equipped. It's in a quiet, rural location within very easy reach of lots of wonderful places to visit. We had trips to Counties Cork, Clare and Kerry as well as Dublin. And County Limerick itself has beautiful countryside and welcoming people. We really did feel very at home. We thought that Sporting Lodge was very good value and would recommend it without hesitation.
Beautiful, quaint country house with some original pieces in it ( cast iron stove/oven, for one). If you're looking for modern, it ain't that. Rooms are fairly small, which adds to the charm . Very quiet area with cows as neighbors. Great location between Cliffs of Moher and Dingle and Ring of Kerry. Convenience store/gas station just a few miles away
Just the type of experience we were looking for, and to top it off, we arrived to tea and coffee service with scones laid out for us. House is gorgeous and we were so warmly welcomed.
This property is ideally located from activities in the SouthWest of Ireland. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood with a quite road. The layout of the house was ideal for my 2 kids and me and the wife. The kids used the 1 bedroom with two single beds and the wife and I slept in the master bedroom. Two upstairs bathrooms made the stay comfortable and the dresser and wardrobe accomodated my clothes perfectly. I always find putting away my clothes on vacation makes the trip last longing and reduces stress. The living room was comfortable for relaxing after the kids were asleep. The kitchen had everything that we desired. This is definately one of my favorite homes and i will adjust my vacation to make sure I could stay here the next time I travel to Southwest Ireland.
