Nestled along Penn's Creek near Mifflinburg, PA, this quaint getaway cabin offers two bedrooms and one bathroom with shower. The cabin has the ability to sleep 6 people comfortably. Plenty of room inside and outside to enjoy. The interior features a Living Room, Dining Area, Kitchen, 2 Private Bedrooms, 1 Full Bathroom, and a Family Room with satellite TV and a view of Penn's Creek. The cabin is equipped with electric heat and A/C. For added warmth in the cooler months there is a wood stove. The exterior of the cabin features a large deck with ample seating and a hot tub. The creek side patio includes a fire pit for your enjoyment. Best of all you will enjoy private access to Penn's Creek where you can kayak, canoe, fish, or just dip your toes in the water!

Another great vacation

This is our second time staying at Diggers Den and we enjoyed just as much as the first. Cabin has everything we needed and the location is amazing. Peaceful & quiet! Loved sitting on the deck, relaxing in the hot tub, and my husband loves being able to fish from right outside the back door.

Good time had by all. Weatger didnt cooperate but the cottage made a nice home for four days. Great firepit and all the home appliances accoutrements to feed and create a peaceful stay.

Streamside

Great location, the deck serves as an enclosure to protect the dogs. We had two days of heavy rain, so Penns Creek was high and muddy. Sat by the water every night and really enjoyed the firepit. We will be back.

Perfect fishing cabin.

Beautiful location, right on the creek. Hot tub, kayaks, fire pit, great fishing, beautiful views out the back windows, what more could you want? Not fancy, but everything works like it should. We'll be back.

Rest & Relaxation

Digger’s Den was the perfect location for a weekend getaway with my husband and our pup. We enjoyed the hot tub immensely! Mr Powell stopped in Saturday morning to introduce himself and to make sure everything was going well. We mostly hung out at the cabin (and it was fantastic with all of its comforts of home) with the exception of a short trip into downtown Mifflinburg to visit the local shops and have a wonderful meal at the Rusty Rail, all just a few miles away on Saturday afternoon. If the need to “escape” ever arises again, I will definitely be checking the availability of this little gem of a place!!

A little slice of Heaven

Property is the perfect place to unwind. We were able to go to a few nearby antique stores and restaurants before the snow arrived. Then settled in and enjoyed.

Short Weekend Away

Cabin is practically right on the creek and the location is everything. It is a rustic cabin with modern amenities. Beds were comfortable and clean. Bath was clean. Water pressure is on low side and fresh water for the coffee was provided. Wood for the fire was provided. We would have liked somewhere to put our food as all the cabinets were full of dishes, etc., and there was an ant issue. Grill utensils were dirty and we washed dishes before using them as they were dusty. There are cabins on either side and a road right in front. Penn's Creek is right off the deck. Hot tub was fabulous at night. You really can't beat the scenery.

Once again an amazing relaxing time at the cabin!!! Cozied up in there soft fleece blankets...Wood burning stove was nice and toasty with great ambiance....sitting in the jacuzzi listening to the ice melt in the sun....perfection ...perfect place to decompress

As advertised!

My son and i stayed here for two nights to attend a penn state game (1 hr away) It IS a fishing cottage--pretty rustic but it suited us just fine.Beautiful surroundings we didnt have time to enjoy. Rusty rail close by has great food and beer!
