We rented this house for a family reunion of 18 people ages 1 to 82. The house was spotless when we arrived and was as nice in person as it was online. The house is incredible with many different spaces to gather. The double sided fireplaces were wonderful, especially the one outside on the deck. The grill worked great and we had plenty of propane. The fire pit, the hot tub, the bar and game room all provided places for everyone to hang out and have fun. Having two refrigerators, dishwashers and ovens was so nice because we had a lot of food! It made for the most wonderful family reunion we ever had. Every bedroom was beautiful and we had enough room for our whole crew. This is the perfect house for a large group where you can be together but still have space. I can't wait to come back again!

Home was Spotless, ample cooking utensils, pots, pans. Great communication. We will definitely look to rent again when we go on our next golf trip. 12 golfers who have been going on long weekend trips for 30 plus years. This property is in our top 2.

Family Reunion

This home was perfect for our family reunion. Plenty of space to spread out and a large open dining living room area for meals together. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. The double refrigerators and dish washers were an unexpected bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

Bachelor Party

The house was the perfect size for our group! It was very spacious which was great. The kitchen had two of everything which was a plus when it came to making meals! Overall everything was great and we already considered coming back!

Our family Christmas getaway

Every year our whole family gets together at a different place between Thanksgiving and Christmas for a weekend. This year we decided to extend our trip to 3 nights. Reunite was absolutely wonderful. Everyone had a great time hanging out together, going tubing and seeing Jim Thorpe but the best part was being together

Great time at this Beautiful property

This house was great and had plenty of room for our 5 families staying with young children. Location is great and very close to Big Boulder! The only piece we didn’t love was the towels and sheets. There were no fitted sheets, so the sheet was constantly off the bed and the towels were tiny and not great quality. The only piece that did not live up to the caliber of the property.

Thank you for your feedback, Laci! Glad "Rainier" was spacious enough to accommodate your group. It's definitely a plus being 5 minutes from Big Boulder, so you have more time to enjoy the slopes. As for there not being fitted sheets on the beds, that is true. You'll find most hotels don't use fitted sheets either, if you unmake the bed. In regards to the towels, our property manager is working with the cleaning company to upgrade the towels. I have forwarded your review to the property manager to review. Birthday dinner celebration

Got my family together to celebrate my mother‘s birthday. The house was exactly as described online and it was spacious enough to hold all my family members without everyone, seeming like they were crowding each other. The spaciousness of the kitchen was exactly what was needed to execute the birthday dinner I had in mind. I would definitely return.

Great property near (not on) Lake Harmony

We booked this house for a multi-generational weekend family trip and the property suited us well. The house was spacious and modern and seemed well-designed for large family gatherings. It is a short drive to Lake Harmony, where there is a very small beach for Lake Harmony Estates residents/guests (the house has beach tags) as well as boat rental companies and some eateries. We visited Hickory Run State Park and did some boating and golfing in the area. Some things to know before booking are that there are no kitchen staples provided (no cooking oil, sugar, ziplock bags, matches, etc.) only dishes, pots, and cutlery, so those have to be brought. Also, the property doesn't have any yard - just some rocky land and the lot is mostly occupied by the house - so not much space for kids to run around outside. It is in a development that feels like a campsite - homes (many also similar large house rentals) fairly close together on quiet lanes, but the many trees offered some privacy. One of the neighboring properties also had kids driving dirt bikes and atvs up and down the street one day and playing loud music, so it wasn't totally peaceful and again reminded me of campsites I've visited. Altogether, I would definitely consider renting again for a similar occasion in the future.
