About this property
Ruby is the precious jewel in the heart of Exmouth.
So called 'The Villas' this complex of 1960's units, are a small piece of Exmouth history. Originally the quarters for the enlisted Australian Army, these older style units are in a great location, walking distance to everything in town and across the road from shops, restaurants, pubs and the parks.
This recently renovated unit, with new furniture, is located right next door to the town swimming pool, near to the Potshot Resort Hotel, Froth Craft Brewery and a short stroll to the shops and cafes of the town centre.
This compact, yet highly functional unit, has three bedrooms with commercial quality new beds. Rooms one and two have queen beds and room three has two single beds, sleeping a total of six occupants.
There is one bathroom with a shower, vanity and toilet, with laundry facilities available. The clothes line is shared with other villas in the complex.
The new flooring and cabinets to the kitchen makes Ruby the perfect base to come to after a day out on the water swimming with whale sharks or relaxing on the beach.
There is a small outside verandah area with limited seating and a barbecue. This villa is tucked away in a far corner of a complex, private and quiet. Parking is at your door. Suitable for small boat parking only. No pets are allowed on this property.
Parking is situated all around 'The Villas' complex and is not allocated to a specific unit. We ask that if you have more than two vehicles that you do not impede on other occupants who maybe residents. Please be respectful of others. Clothes lines are also shared.

Really great location, pretty central to everything in town, comfortable stay, all the creature comforts made the stay really pleasant. If I come back to Exmouth then I'll definitely be considering staying here again!
A short walk from the main shops, it is quiet and nicely set up for a self catering holiday. Forget the outside - inside worked really well. Comfy lounge, decent kitchen which had good utensils, convenient BBQ outside and bathrooms were fine. The laundry was ideal for a mid week wash and no problems with the laundry sink for rinsing snorkelling and scuba gear. We would happily book this place again.
Great place to stay for a couple of days. Walking distance to shopping center.
Could do with a small renovation in the bathroom, especially the mirror. Otherwise a nice and comfortable stay!

Thank you for the lovely review. We'd love to host you again.
The house was clean, tidy, amenities were great (although the children complained about having no internet!) and a perfect size for us and our three children. Very good communication too and prompt responses when I had questions.
It was lovely to stay here , this is my second time in this rental.
My only thing I’d change is the location of the bins , as they did get very smelly and maybe a new location would be better for all and pick up truck .
Though we had an enjoyable stay .
Thankyou.

Thank you for the lovely review. We'd love to have you back!
Ruby’s was a great location for the IGA and restaurants, and also the right end of the town to travel up to the Ningaloo National Park. The cabin was the perfect size for our trip and had good facilities but was a bit dated. It was great that the WiFi worked, even with Vodafone but it’s definitely best to have Telstra outside of town. Unfortunately it was a pretty noisy area though, with the outdoor cinema the first night and then loud music into the night on the third night from nearby. Take ear buds!
Fabulous! Each room is beautifully appointed, with good quality furniture and fittings. You can still see the bones of the 1965 SPQ, with private rooms and shared spaces. The kitchen and lounge is modern and stylish and it was great to have the laundry. There's still some work to be done in the bathroom, but it's big and after I decalcified the shower, it worked well. The home is right in the middle of town, close to great cafes and the shops. Excellent notification systems by the property manager.

Not worth the price
For the price we paid for 12 nights not worth it. Lounge and kitchen was nice livable and functional, bedrooms were horrible to sleep in and the pillows were gross. Bathroom had a mirror sticky taped go the wall. BBQ was dirty gross did not use.
This accommodation is in the perfect location. It’s nothing fancy at all, but because we didn’t spend much time there because we were out majority of the day so it was okay. Super close walk to the shops, spacious, and a quiet area. Only negative thing I’d mentioned is there was a super funky smell coming from the laundry/bathroom area. You could really smell it when you walked into the house, but the property manager was nice enough to get a scented diffuser before we checked in, and we also bought some incense sticks as well to use. Other than that, really enjoyed our stay there!
Inside was nice. Everything works. Showers a bit how’s it goin. But good enough for me.
Would stay again but a little pricey.
