Great stay

This was the first time our family (3 siblings and their families) went away together as a group and we had a great time. The place was perfect for us. The family with the toddler and pre-k children stayed in the attached house making perfect for naps and such. The rest of us enjoyed the 3 bedroom part and the ping pong table in the garage was a huge hit. The backyard area was cozy and accommodated all of the group. The littles enjoyed watching the deer and elk that would come up. Overall great spot: clean, decorated cute, and good location.

Laudable Lazy Deer Lodge

Great place for a family gathering! Main house with Casita allowed for common gathering space, along with private space when needed, which was a nice benefit. Living area had adequate seating for our family gathering. The well-equipped kitchen, dining space, and patio grill were great for our family cooking and dining needs. Our favorite gathering places were the expansive front deck, back porch with nice views of open space and night sky, and garage that contained a ping pong table, foosball table, arcade-style basketball game, and more. Deer, elk, wild horses, birds and butterflies wandered and flitted about. The host was very friendly, kind, and responsive to our questions and any needs that we had. Our family is already talking about our next gathering.

Beautiful and Cozy

The Lazy Deer Lodge was absolutely amazing and perfect for our family getaway for the weekend! We loved the coziness of the whole cabin, and the peaceful neighborhood. The deer that came every evening were such a sweet surprise and made sitting out on the large front porch even more amazing! Will absolutely be staying here again!

This was our second stay at this property and we will be returning!! The cabin has lots of room and is very comfortable. The furnishings are very nice and better than you expect for a rental property. We really enjoy relaxing and visiting on the large decks that surround the cabins. We highly recommend this property!!

The cabin was warm and welcoming. Perfect for a 3 generation family to enjoy time together! We loved grilling on the back patio and watching the deer. House was appointed with everything you would need to enjoy your stay. Our host was great as well. We bought some ping pong balls and that was it! Had a lovely time. We needed to be able to work from the cabin and the wifi worked great. No problem at all with cell phones working.

Perfect family cabin!

We loved staying over Memorial Day weekend with family! Clean, comfy cabin and casita. Kids loved the game room in the garage! We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful Place

We loved staying here, the house was very nice and well kept. My parents stayed in the guesthouse and loved having their own space. There was a deer laying under the front deck when we got there, it was really cool to see. The view from the back porch can't be beat. We loved sitting out back drinking coffee and enjoying the view. Thank you for such a great trip.

Awesome stay

The cabin was just as described. We had an awesome stay. We were able to see wildlife while cooking outside. We had no issues what so ever. Definitely would love to rent out again.

Cozy and Beautiful

I loved our stay. It rained a bit and it was perfect weather to drink coffee outside. Lakes were closed due to limited space, races were closed to visitors so there wasn’t much to do that was social distance friendly. Regardless the home is beautiful and the only bummer I found with the property is that its in front of an apartment complex and the living room TV requires an engineering degree to work. Just stay in the backyard and you forget about those minor, minimal things.
