Enjoyed but no strong lock

Couple issues. Deadbolt lock not aligned would not lock. Could only use handles an that is loose and ready to break. Found cracked glass in cabinet. Smell in freezer needs better clean out. Freezer did not work lost ice. Fire alarm announcement too soft. If asleep would not have heard it. Master Bath shower needs recaulking. Mildew imbedded.

Great Weekend Getaway

Everything was a smooth process from check in, the stay and check out. It was nice to be able to have contact with someone on the property for needed items. The only recommendation I would have is to have better lighting in the halls. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Will Definitely Do it Again!

So much to say about this property, SPI, & our overall trip. We stayed here for the Thanksgiving holiday (8 days & 7 nights.) We arrived late at night about 11:30pm. We were still able go check in very easily. LOVED, LOVED, LOVED our condo. It was spacious, clean, decorated nicely, & good location within the building. It was extremely spacious & we were able to bring our pup. Not sure about the kids rooms but master bed was the most comfortable. I have back issues & love a firm mattress. Due to the rain we had a leak from one of the bedroom windows. We were able to get a hold of property manager. They offered to move us and tried to accommodate us anyway they could. We opted to stay & the leak was fixed within an appropriate time frame. The property itself was in good condition, the beach was clean, & everyone was so nice. Negatives (not really) : The fire alarms kept going off (the 1st two days) & we were asked to evacuate multiple times. My oldest suffers from anxiety (we had a house fire), so this was challenging but it was fixed it. The gym was closed had bad leaks from the rain. We were given wristband, which we didn't wear 😬, but was told it was mandatory & no one ever checked. Even though they supplied a ton of kitchen utensils there was some still lacking. We had to purchase a spatula & a couple of other things, but honestly, these issues weren't bad enough to warrant anything but a glowing review. The best part is that we accidentally left clothes in drawers and they notified us & got it shipped back to us. I truly appreciated the hospitality. This was our 1st time booking through VRBO, 1st time in Padre & at this resort and we can't wait to come back.

Beautiful Accommodations

We loved our stay with La Isla. The room was clean and well maintained, contained all of the amenities we needed to have a great stay, and the location was perfect (property right on the beach). Great communication and flexibility by the management team eased our minds and afforded us a wonderful getaway. I will book again.
