AC didn't work for 2 nights on hot summer day

We stayed here for 3 nights. Out of that 2 days we didn't had AC working . We checked in on friday night around 10pm and it was really hot around 84 degrees inside the home. Initially we thought the AC was not ON and so we switched on and went to bed as we all were tired. But we all woke up at the middle as we were not able to stay inside because of heat . Especially the room which has bunk beds were kids were sleeping was really hot as it didn't had ceiling fan nor pedestrian fan. Then we realized that AC is not working. Then next day morning we called and complained and they told the vendor will come and fix it . The office told they will let us know the status but no one called. We assumed that AC is fixed and the 2nd day night again when we got back it was almost 86 degrees and AC was not fixed. We had 2 night of bad experience as we all were tired after full day activities and at night not able to sleep due to heat . Then after complaining again on the 2nd day , the vendor came and fixed it and we had AC on the 3rd night which was the last day. Kids were totally disappointed as they were really excited for this vacation to sleep on the bunk beds and was not able to sleep for 2 days due to the heat. As parents we were also totally disappointed not having proper sleep due to the heat. So I have to give 1 star due to the horrible experience we had due to AC unit not working on the summer hot days. Also outside in the patio tables were not clean and was dirty with stains. Also found some bubble gums on the wall of one of the bedrooms. Pool and beach access was really good and no comments on that.

I would first like to start by apologizing and that I am sorry that your stay was inconvenienced due to the AC malfunctioning. I can understand how frustrating this can be, especially having a child of my own. Additionally, it is below our standards that the house was not cleaned up to our expectations of quality that we set. We would love to rectify this for you as you and your family as you picked this particular house for a reason, as well as the OBX.
