I had a very pleasant and memorable 5 night stay in this spacious, comfortable and very well maintained apartment/hotel. It's location is on a quiet street, but is centrally located to all major cultural destinations, restaurants and shopping opportunities. The kitchen, bathrooms, washing machine, toilets and bed were all very high quality and allowed for total self-containment. It was very easy to get taxis, take the subway or catch a bus to any of the numerous temples, monasteries and palaces that give Kyoto such a worthy reputation for cultural explorations. Special mention must be made to the english speaking staff who were very friendly, professional and helpful with all requests for assistance, advice and insight. Five days in Kyoto confirmed that I must come back for an even deeper dive someday and I'll certainly return to this excellent facility when I do. Highly recommended!

Spacious hi-tech apartment with exhaustive instructions in Japanese. Everything was thought of to make the stay comfortable. Kyoto Lonely Planet and pocket wifi were great help for better orientation. Very friendly and helpful customer service. Super!

Very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly, although they demanded 2000 in taxes which other hotels didn't. The rooms are a bit small but that is normal for Japanese standards. We liked that a washing machine and a bathtubwith TV was available. The hotel is right next to a bus stop which is helpful. Also the river is only a 5 minute walk away.
