Quaint and comfortable!

We had a lovely one night stay in the mountain view room. The bed was comfortable, the host was gracious, and the building was old and gorgeous.

This property is rustic- a house built in 1820. It is simple beauty not luxury. I loved the period pieces in the room. The owner and staff are friendly, helpful and full of insight. Their Market Place is fully stocked. There are plenty of patios for enjoying privacy in the back or mountain and town views in the front. Absolutely loved my stay and was truly sad to leave.

The property was sprawling with many rooms, areas, and steps. When I booked the room I was under the impression that the bathroom was in suite since it was private. However at confirmation of booking I discovered that the bathroom was private, but down a flight of stairs. We went through with it anyway and it was fine. Next time we will book a room downstairs with its own bathroom. The area is beautiful and the staff and inn were very nice, quaint and rustic. We will go back.
