Amy, we are so happy you enjoyed this property! It's only about a 1/2 mile from the resort so the location is awesome as you pointed out! You could walk to the resort from here in about 10 minutes! It's a wonderful year round property and we hope you can make it back to stay again soon!

Were so glad to have had you as a guest at our mountain home & hope you will be back to visit the beautiful Winter Park area again soon. I hope the nearby construction wasnt too troublesome, the only downside to how incredible the Winter Park area is that theres a lot of new construction going on due to people from around the country trying to get themselves a home here so they can enjoy more time in the mountains ;)

Views are for sure not to miss when staying here at this awesome house only a few minutes from the slopes and short walk to the shuttle stop.

We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay! Yes, the train can be heard from this property like it can from majority of the properties in the area (including all the units at the resort as you pointed out). I live a mile from the tracks and hear it every night myself. We appreciate your ability to look past this and not let it takeaway from having a great time in an awesome property! Hi Stephanie While are were sorry to hear that you contracted Covid and were not able to make it on vacation, we did reach back out to you. We have a strict cancellation policy because give every guest the opportunity to purchase travel insurance. We allow you to purchase the insurance up to 30 days prior to your arrival. You booked two months prior to arrival so you had a full month to purchase the travel insurance. It is very clear on our unit descriptions that cancelations made with less than 14 days of your arrival date will result in 100% loss of all payments. It is also made clear on the rental agreement that you signed. We advise anyone reading this review to take in consideration that we send multiple emails regarding our policies immediately after booking and have dedicated guest service agents that are happy to answer any questions or concerns our guests may have throughout the booking process.
