Beautiful , updated home on the river. 1 block from stores and restaurants. You cant beat the location. Large deck to listen to the flowing water and enjoying the mountain views. Beautifully decorated home. Short walk to park and hot springs.

Beds were comfortable. Kitchen stocked. Ice maker worked. Plenty of towels and linens. Close to Main St. Walkable. The listing does show that cable tv is provided/available, but that was not the case, no cable TV in the upstairs area/bedroom. The TV in the living room is the only one we could use. I took my grandkids hoping they would have their own TV to watch. There is a beautiful creek in the back and a large patio area with beautiful views. There is a park nearby with a playground and beautiful grassy area for the kids to play and run around. Ouray is a beautiful town with mountain views.

Great Back Deck!

The back deck and the main-floor primary bedroom were the two biggest reasons I chose this property, and the deck definitely did not disappoint. We ate dinner outside every evening and really enjoyed the space. There was plenty of seating for everyone, both on the deck and inside around the dining table and in the living room.One thing worth noting is that the river is not quite as accessible as the photos made it appear. I had expected to be able to pull a chair right up to the water, but the river sits approximately four feet below the property, and I did not feel comfortable climbing down to it. That said, the deck itself was wonderful and still made the stay worthwhile.The house overall was comfortable and worked well for our group. I especially appreciated the large kitchen island for preparing meals. The kitchen could benefit from a few additional cooking utensils and some larger cookware, particularly a large pot for making pasta or meals for a group.There were a few maintenance issues that were frustrating. The dryer door would not stay closed, and I was given instructions to wedge something between the wall and the dryer door in order to keep it shut while running. It kinda worked, but it was very inconvenient and seems like something that should be repaired. The showers also drained very slowly, leaving us standing in ankle-deep water while showering.The most confusing issue involved the water. During our stay in August, the property contact informed me that the City of Ouray was supposedly under water-contamination protocols and advised us to use bottled water. I was also told that local restaurants were operating under the same restrictions. Naturally, this was concerning and would have meant an unexpected expense for our group. Ultimately, we used the water at the house for drinking, cooking, washing dishes, and showering without any problems. We also ate at restaurants in town, and no one in our group became ill. The water tasted perfectly fine as well. I’m still unsure what the concern was or where the information came from, but the conflicting information caused unnecessary confusion and concern during our stay.

Fantastic cabin on the river

Had a great time in Ouray. Our cabin was amazing. Very clean, great view and location. Good communications with property management and owner, Cindy was very helpful. Plenty of parking and within good walking distance to restaurants and shops. Can’t wait to come back

Great house!

Amazing location - right off main street! Very clean, stocked kitchen, great spaces to hang out inside and out - kids had a great time playing in the river....we visited in Oct and the river was still flowing pretty fast. Amazing views!

Wonderful Home!

I highly recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in Ouray. Very well kept home and such a great location. Woke up to deer in the back, the mountain are incredible from the front and back porch. Owner is very kind and responsive. We can't wait to go back!

Work project

Stayed at the cabin while on a work project taking place in ridgeway at the old firehouse. Couldn’t of stayed at a more relaxing location. The weather was perfect and the river added a soothing ambience. The place was clean and felt like home away from home, would def stay again if given the opportunity.

The town of Ouray & activities are unbelievable! The home was very clean, comfortable & supplied with everything we could need. We enjoyed several meals & s’mores on the deck. We also napped on the recliner/couch after a 25 mile bike ride.

Beautiful Cabin

This was the perfect base for our Ouray trip! The house is every bit as beautiful and luxurious as it looks in the photos. We especially enjoyed the back deck that looked out over the river where we could grill and enjoy the fire pit. There were wonderful mountain views from every window in the house.We could easily walk to everything we wanted in Ouray: the jeep tour office, restaurants and shops, grocery store, the park and hot springs, and hiking trailheads.

Exceptional Place to Stay

Thus was a beautiful cabin in Colorado, and it was an incredible experience. The home was immaculate and very well-maintained, providing a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The highlight was definitely the stunning view from the cabin, which made our mornings and evenings so special.There were plenty of activities to do nearby, all within a short distance. We enjoyed hiking on the local trails, exploring the natural beauty of the area, and simply relaxing at the cabin. The peaceful surroundings and the breathtaking scenery made our stay truly memorable.I highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a perfect getaway in Ouray. It offers a wonderful blend of comfort, cleanliness, and natural beauty.

The house was in a fantastic location with great parking. The host was excellent and helpful to take care of a few items in the house that were not in good working order. The cleanliness was so so when we got there and I had to clean a few things but overall OK. The master bedroom downstairs bed was very comfortable. Some of the cookware was old and in need of replacement. The views from the Home were great, being on the river and walking distance to town was amazing. The photos did not show an RV park on the other side of the River and pretty close to the back patio. It did not end up being a deterrent though

Had a great stay in the house. The back porch was very relaxing to sit on and listen to the creek close by. We had a bear visit us one night we were there in the backyard. Noone was ever placed in danger. Great to see the wildlife up close. One block off the main street in Ouray so walking into town was very easy. I would definitely stay here again.
