Beautiful pet-friendly property not too far from a main road. Well marked trails for hiking. Communication with the host was excellent, any sort of question or issue, they were there to help. I went with just my dog and I in September for a little R&R. Was perfect.

We just spent five days here and couldn't have asked for a more comfortable and welcoming cabin. If you are thinking about booking here, just do it! Everything was incredibly clean and thoughtfully stocked. The hosts have thought of everything a guest could possibly need. We especially loved exploring the trails on the property, with our dog leading the way, and coming back to cozy evenings by the wood stove. It made for such a relaxing and memorable getaway. Thank you Janet and Kevin for sharing your beautiful cabin with us, we would love to come back!

We rented this cottage for our annual snowmobile trip that we have been doing for over 20yrs. The hosts were one of the easiest and friendliest we have experienced. They were always quick to reply to any questions. The cottage is updated and beautifully decorated. This is the perfect place for a winter getaway. Snowmobile trail NN415 is a short ride down the road, and Sundridge is 15 min by sled. There was lots of room to park for our 3 trucks and trailers. We are already talking about returning next year.

Great time in the woods, again!

This was our second stay at Maple Valley Cabin. Great place, clean, well-stocked, and Janet and Kevin are wonderful and supportive hosts!! Im sure if they were able to prevent the mosquitoes and black/deer flies they would, but with early summer in the woods, the bugs are part of the package! Another wonderful stay, thanks again!!

Wonderful!

We stayed at Maple Valley Cabin for 6 days in mid-August with our family of four and dog. The cabin, property and hosts were excellent. The interior has the slightly rustic feel of a log cabin in the woods but impeccably decorated, maintained and equipped like a high end resort. The property is very private and quiet with lots of green space for dogs to run and play! Would be great for young kids too.

Awesome Winter Retreat

The Cabin was a perfect fit for us all. Secluded on 100 acres gave us the privacy but yet the most enjoyable winter weekend getaway! The many trails in the surrounding woods kept us active and busy. We have rented from VRBO many times & must say it was one of the best equipped rental. Janet and Kevin have thought of everything! Games, fire pit, fireplace, claw foot tub, fully stocked kitchen, snowshoes… the list goes on. Thank you Janet & Kevin, We will be back!

LABOUR DAY WEEKEND 2023

We can't thank Janet, Kevin, Scott, Andrew, and Georgia enough for their hospitality. They provided all essentials, and all the little details made us feel right at home. My family enjoyed the beautiful trails with the atvs, dirt bikes, and the dogs loved the nature walks through the trails. Maple Valley Cabin was a beautiful place for my family to connect and make memories that will last forever. ❤️ The Martins Family!

Perfect Cabin in the woods

Janet and Kevin have thought of everything you may need and placed it perfectly in this log home. From the furry throws to the pillowy dog bed …. There is everything you need and more. All the beds are super cozy and the firewood is plentiful. Having personal trails through the woods to walk with the dogs was amazing. Love to hear back in the fall or winter to enjoy all the seasons. Honestly the best cottage stay we ever had.

Wonderful place and location. Very quiet and peaceful. Owners provided lots of amenities and welcome gifts. We made good use of the fire pit. The only negative thing i could say was the lack of a/c. Given that we were there during a heatwave, fans can only do so much. Even a portable ac unit would've been a huge relief in the cabin. Other than that minor discomfort, the place was amazing. Kitchen supplies and appliances were great.Thank you so much.
