Blue Whale Cottage | Hot Tub & Sea Cave Views

Blue Whale Cottage offers a truly special vantage point overlooking the famous St. Martins Sea Caves. From the windows, you can watch the tides flow in and out of the caves throughout the day—a rare and unforgettable experience that makes this cottage stand out. Whether the tide is full or completely empty, the ever-changing views create a front-row seat to one of the Bay of Fundy’s most remarkable natural features.
The cottage is a bright, spacious, single-level home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, making it ideal for families or groups of friends. The open layout creates a comfortable gathering space, filled with natural light and coastal views from every room.
Outside, guests can relax in the hot tub, which is sheltered by a newly built hemlock gazebo with a metal roof—perfect for enjoying the space in any weather. A propane fire table adds to the outdoor experience and creates a cozy spot to unwind in the evenings.
Located directly across the street from the Sea Caves and local restaurants, Blue Whale Cottage offers exceptional walkability. The entrance to Fundy Trail Provincial Park is just a 10-minute drive away, placing hiking and scenic coastal adventures within easy reach.

About the host

Host profile image
I started with one rental cottage in 2019, and over time that little project grew into three coastal cottages that I now host under Cave View Cottages. Hosting has become something I’m genuinely passionate about, and I take a lot of pride in creating spaces that feel welcoming, comfortable, and thoughtfully cared for.
By day, I’m an elementary school teacher and the mom of a teenager. That background has shaped the way I host—organization, clear communication, and attention to detail matter to me, and I want guests to feel at ease from the moment they arrive. I understand how important it is to have a space that feels both relaxing and reliable, whether you’re visiting for a weekend getaway or a longer stay.
I live nearby and am very familiar with the area, so I’m always happy to share local tips, restaurant recommendations, or ideas for exploring the coast. While I respect guests’ privacy, I’m never far away if you need anything or have questions during your stay.
St. Martins and the Bay of Fundy are special places, and I feel lucky to welcome guests to this beautiful part of the coast through Cave View Cottages. I look forward to hosting you and helping make your stay a memorable one.

Why they chose this property

This location stood out to me because it offers a front-row seat to the St. Martins Sea Caves and the constant movement of the Bay of Fundy’s tides. It’s a place where the landscape becomes part of the stay, and I wanted guests to be able to experience that same sense of wonder from the comfort of the cottage.

What makes this property unique

What makes Blue Whale Cottage truly unique is its rare, front-row view of the famous St. Martins Sea Caves. From inside the cottage, you can watch the Bay of Fundy’s dramatic tides rise and fall directly into the caves—an experience that changes hour by hour and feels completely immersive. Few properties offer this kind of uninterrupted, close-up perspective from nearly every room in the home.
Unlike many coastal stays where the views are partial or distant, Blue Whale Cottage places you right across from the caves, allowing you to experience them throughout the day without ever leaving the house. Whether the tide is full, receding, or completely out, the landscape transforms constantly, making the view part of the stay rather than just a backdrop.
The cottage itself is designed for comfort and connection. With everything on one level, it offers a bright, open layout that works well for families and groups, while still feeling relaxed and welcoming. Large windows fill the space with natural light and keep the focus on the surrounding scenery.
Outdoor living is another highlight. The hot tub is sheltered by a custom-built hemlock gazebo, creating a cozy space to unwind in any weather. Paired with a propane fire table, it’s easy to enjoy peaceful evenings while taking in the coastal setting.
Located directly across from the Sea Caves and within walking distance to restaurants, and just minutes from Fundy Trail Provincial Park, Blue Whale Cottage combines an unbeatable location with a truly one-of-a-kind view—offering guests a memorable and deeply connected Bay of Fundy experience.
