Property was as advertised, well-appointed, and comfortable for our family of five. It's a private, quiet, cozy retreat, wonderful weekend away from Denver. Would stay again.
Loved the cabin and nature around it! Lovely surprise to see two teepees!
Tried a Nespresso for the first time, delicious.
Loved exploring thebild town and cemetary, very peaceful!
Definitely recommend!!
We loved this space. Smaller than the pictures, but there were just 2 of us, so it was perfect. Wish the Xbox was working since the game room really only had a dart board but the rest was amazing and such a great trip! Recommend this cabin!
This week’s stay at the cabin was prime! Beautiful drive to resorts with minimal traffic compared to I-70. The best experience we have had after years of taking an annual trip to CO. Louis was so kind and the cabin had everything we needed. Hot Tub was the icing on the cake! 10/10 would stay here again and am planning to!
My husband and I stayed the week for our Anniversary. It was clean, the hot tub was fantastic, the beds were comfortable, and it had everything we could have needed. We can't stop sharing photos with family and friends and telling everyone about the fun we had. For such a small town we didn't run out of things to find to do both free and paid for. I highly suggest checking out Tarryal Reservoir around golden hour (just before sunset), it's breathtaking. We also really enjoyed our horse back ride through the mountains with American Safari Ranch in Fairplay. There were so many more things to do, but relaxing at the cabin was just as wonderful. We will definitely suggest this VRBO to friends and family.
We had a great time at this cabin. You are really away from everything, the cabin is about 25 minutes (10 min of dirt road) from Fairplay (a small town). no light pollution for a starry sky on cloudless nights. Something to know ahead of time is you will lose all cellular service 20-30min before the cabin, make sure you have any info you need saved offline. the cabin has great decor. we really enjoyed the fire pit and jacuzzi. the kids loved the play house and play ground. Indian mountain is a beautiful drive in and out. One day we we went to hike + 4x4 Hoosier Pass and the other day we drove up to Frisco Marina to rent a pontoon boat, stopped in Breckenridge on the way. Both places are a scenic drive and reasonably close.
If you are looking for a secluded remote place to stay in Colorado this was great! We were an hour from Breckinridge and a hour and a half from vail. We drove in to both on seperate days. We got to see Llama, cows, deer, antelope, moose... cozy place for a getaway.

Beautiful afternoon and morning views, also awesome for stargazing. Very kid friendly.
Responsive and welcoming cabin owners were quick to welcome and respond to us before, during, and after our stay. Thoughtfully arranged to keep kids engaged with a separate cabin with a variety of games for little ones and even adults. Hot tub was a big plus, and kitchen was ample size for families and gatherings. Bring a telescope because nighttime views are amazing with the stars. We only encountered cows crossing the dirt roads so be aware when traveling. Also when driving out of town near the lamas there is a Big curvy road that will give you an unbelievable view. The cabin is off the grid however the town people are very nice and will commonly waive to you when your driving to and from.
Overall, we loved the place. A few mishaps, but the owner was very apologetic. Xbox was being repaired, hot tub was not ready when we arrived, could have been a little cleaner. It was definitely set up for kids too. That was a plus!
Had a great time spending a few days with the family hidden away from the world.
The property owners were extremely friendly, and they went out of their way to return our daughter's stuffie to us when we accidentally left it behind.

Beautiful Snowy Stay
We arrived at this cabin during the first snow, and coming from Missouri’s hills to Colorado’s mountains was very exciting! The woodstove was so cozy, and the cabin was relaxing and comfortable. We enjoyed just hunkering down and watching movies and enjoying the peace and quiet. Our stay was very pleasant!

Don't knock un announced !
My wife and I went up to this property from Denver for a few days of Mountain R & R. Don't look too closely or you'll see how dirty the place is. Also, on our last night someone showed up unannounced at about 7pm to clean the hot tub. Fortunately we weren't sitting in it, but this was ridiculous that it couldn't wait 12 hours until we checked out. Also enough chemicals were dumped in to treat it for a week, leaving it unavailable to us (we have a hot tub at home) to sit in that night. Also didn't appreciate all the signs around the hot tub warning us to not sit on the cover or we'd pay to have it fixed, failing to note it was already broken and was waiting on parts, so when I opened it, I thought I broke it and would be paying upwards of 1k for repairs. I hope this review doesn't come back to haunt the young woman who is obviously going around treating hot tubs in that area, probably just trying to make a living wage, I blame the owners who probably didn't want to pay her to come back the next day. I will NOT be staying here again.
Clean and comfortable place. Everything there was nice.
It was comfortable and nice and would possibly rent it again

Quiet Secluded Cabin
We spent 2 nights here with our children and totally enjoyed every minute of it. The kids loved their own bunk house/play room and we liked the peaceful quiet evenings on the front porch with the fire pit or soaking in the hot tub. The house was decorated immaculately and had all the amenities that we needed. We didn't do much exploring as our goal was just to unwind and we accomplished that goal. We would stay here again.

Very Peaceful
This cabin is everything you could ask for in a weekend getaway. Very quiet, clear skies, hot tub, play area for the kids, & fire pit. It’s also close to some great fishing locations.

Beautiful and quiet
The cabin is beautiful and well maintained. I brought myself and my children to stay for three days and two nights. Hot tub, playground, bunk house with fun games and a flatscreen TV to access xbox and movies. It was so peaceful sitting on the front porch with the fire pit going, the fresh air, and stillness of nature. It is about a 15 minute drive to two different fishing holes, both of which are full of fish for your young ones or beginner fishermen to try out. This cabin is also about 15 minutes from the infamous South Park Colorado. Fun little swag shops all over. With hunting areas near by, I look forward to having a place to stay while hunt. Will be booking again soon!
