On arrival the appearance of the cottage was almost unrecognisable to the advertised photo PLUS the neighbour climbing over the fence to deposit rubbish in the bins was a bit confronting!Once we had settled in and the fire pumping it was delightful.

Well restored heritage house with all mod cons

The house is perfect for a relaxing stay. Everything you could need in a quiet location. Within short drive of great restaurants but the kitchen might temp you to stay in. Will stay again when in Orange.

The house was wonderful for our family catch up. Used the bathroom out the back in the garage which nade it easy. The only problem was the sink in the main bathroom didnt drain very well. Great spot we walked to restaurants each night.

Ladies catch up

Exactly as described, nice quiet street. Very clean, comfortable beds and pillows, plenty of glasses, plates, cutlery etc. We really loved the house and would definitely come back again. Loved the floor heating in the bathrooms!

We booked Dimby House for a weekend away with our family to celebrate our son's 21st birthday. Travelling from the Illawarra, we wanted a cottage that would give us the full Orange experience, and it certainly delivered.The house was perfect—spacious, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully renovated. The bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely, with plenty of wardrobe space and lots of hooks for jackets and towels. The bathrooms were a real highlight, especially the underfloor heating and the bath, which were much appreciated on a chilly Orange weekend.The living area was where we spent most of our time together—enjoying drinks and nibbles, watching the football, and finishing the evenings with a family movie. It was warm, comfortable, and a wonderful space to relax.The kitchen was exceptionally well appointed, with quality crockery, utensils, and everything we needed. Everything throughout the house was spotlessly clean and beautifully organised.The location was another standout. It's an easy walk to great pubs such as The Canobolas and close enough to stroll into the centre of Orange to enjoy its fantastic cafés, restaurants, and shops.A small tip for future guests: I was expecting the check-in instructions to come via Stayz, but they actually arrived from Airbnb. We worked it out easily, and the hosts were excellent communicators throughout, even accommodating an early check-in, which we really appreciated.
