Lovely long weekend at this historic cottage. Quaint and cosy, Kristy was a wonderful host who was a pleasure to communicate with. Beautiful location by the river. Highly recommend.
A most comfortable place to stay We really enjoyed this cute house it has so much characterThe kitchen had everything you needed to cook a enjoyable meal The front veranda was a enjoyable place to enjoy a drink and watch the boats cruise down the river Bedrooms were clean and cosy The wood fire was a real treat , very easy to light with everything you needed there to use Overall we really enjoyed our stay
Lovely home with beautiful views.Kristy was accessible and easy to communicate with.We didn’t want for anything in regards to the house, it was stocked with everything we needed for the few days we were there. Will be back.
Very spacious and comfortable house. very clean, beds comfortable, open fire kept the place warm duringd our stay, would definately consider staying here in our next trip, and advise other friends intending to visit the area to book the house..

Thank you very much for you lovely review. We would love to have you back.
This is an absolutely lovely property. It was spotlessly clean and surrounded by a beautiful verandah with lovely views out over the garden and the Tambo. The house was very spacious and the deep bath a real treat. Heating was very effective on the cold days we stayed. Communication with Kristy was proactive and excellent. Would love to visit in the summer with the garden in bloom and an excuse to relax on the verandah with a vino. Thanks Kristy.
This historic cottage was a delight to stay in. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the veranda and watching the sunsets across the Tambo river, the house's proximity to many other towns and tourist attractions and the lovely big garden which our dog loved. The only slight negative was some early morning traffic noise. The rooms are large and contain everything you need for your stay. Kristy was great to deal with and kept us informed about all the house details we needed to know. A nice family trip away.
The host was very helpful and ensured that everything was ready for us. The house and its location were very pleasant and suitable to accommodate us and our two dogs who loved looking at the alpacas and rabbits. A very nice, comfortable place to stay.

Thank you for your lovely review. The Aplacas really are characters, but I am not sure I share the same love for the rabbits as your dogs do. Thankfully, we can keep them out of the secure backyard area.
The house was positioned in an excellent location and close to everything we needed. We were able to bring our dog's with us which was great. Lounge was a bit uncomfortable for us if you suffer from back pain. Everything else was as described.
Meticulously restored and renovated country home getaway. Great location only 8 min drive to the Hot Springs and beautiful location with horses, lamas and cows with everything you could need. Home away from home and really comfortable beds !

I am so please you had a great stay. We always have our Aplacs, but the other animals can vary depending upon what else is eating our grass on those that the neighbours have. I do personally love the neighbours cows.
Kristy and Corey's home was absolutely stunning I was so impressed with the communication friendly and approachable. The photo Journey of their home really tells a story of every detail of the renovation great achievement guys. The cleanliness of the cottage was faultless and I do this for a job so I did look The gardens are gorgeous and well maintained.A truly delight cottage I will be back.
As a family, this is excellent place to stay.

Thank you for your feedback.
We completely agree about the need for an exhaust fan in the bathroom. We have given our electrician a job list and the fan is definitely on it. As soon as we can get him here we will have one.
Great place to stay, dog friendly with plenty of space for them to play and fully fenced if you want to leave them to go out, very relaxing sitting on the front veranda watching over the Tambo river, Lovely old house with lots of character.
