Garden unit chosen specifically because it was ground level and close to two others rented for the larger group. Excellent choice! Well appointed, nicely decorated, great location for the delightful walk down to Poipu beach park. Grassy areas great for the kids to burn off energy. BBQ close by. Beach closet even had snorkels and an umbrella, in addition to the chairs, cooler, boogie boards, towels...... Well Done! and Thanks!

The location of the unit was good and the unit was nicely decorated. A few things could be improved or fixed, including the bottom of the screen door was torn, locking door knob to the bedroom would stick, and the non-stick frying pans were badly scratched and worn and should be replaced.

Location was perfect and only about a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Stay was clean and AC in the bedroom was nice. It came with nice beach chairs, a cooler, and boogie boards which were an added bonus. Would stay again!

We enjoyed a fabulous week in Poipu. This place was just incredible! Very clean, lots of room to spread out, nice kitchen and outdoor terrace, plentiful beach gear, and fine pool/jacuzzi. The pillows were too firm for our liking, but everything else was just perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

Had everything we needed. Kids loved the boogie boards! The fold out bed for the kids was very comfortable and the A/C unit in the bedroom made for a good nights sleep.

Everything was great! Fully stocked with essentials which was so convenient. Also stocked with beach essentials which made it hassle free to go to the beach. Bed was so comfortable. Great communication answered any questions right away! Great location close to great beaches where you can boogie board or snorkel! Beach was walking distance along the trail. Backyard had a large grassy area where kids could play. Parking was convenient. Honestly have no complaints and I’m so glad we picked this place, and hope to return soon!!

My adult daughter and I really enjoyed staying at this beautiful condo. It was so well equipped with everything we needed and the perfect location. Maybe a 5 minute walk to the beach. We were on the ground floor and spent a lot of time on the patio in the evenings. There was a beautiful large grassy area at the edge of the patio that made it so relaxing and enjoyable. We are so impressed with our stay in one of your condominiums. Everything that we are looking for is there such as a coffee maker, washing machine, laundry soap, towels, extra blankets, etc. Unfortunately, while we are about to leave the condo, we discovered that there were beach chairs, a cooler, and a boogie board, stored by the entrance closet, that we are not aware of, we could have used them during our seven-day stay, darn. Anyway, overall we are so pleased with our stay and will recommend it to all our friends and family in the future. Thank you very much!
Poipu Beach is a kid-friendly beach, definitely recommended when the water waves are calmer.

Apartment was in a decent location, between two separate beach areas. There is a no shoe rule, which I like, but the carpet felt dirty and my socks were proof that the carpet was in fact dirty. Other than the carpet, I thought the place was very clean. The stovetop had two burners that didn't work, but we made due. Anyone renting this place needs to know that the evening sun shines right in the living room area, making it very hot. There is only an AC in the bedroom, and the ceiling fans do not run high, they all only run slow, so they don't cool off the rooms at all. We were fine with the evening sun, because we weren't really there during that time of the day, except to change clothes. I liked the property, but I was never sure if access to a pool was part of the rental? The property does have lots of beach supplies in a small closet by the front door.

The space was clean and cozy, we did not spend a majority of our time in the apartment. Our pleasant trip was due mostly to the island of Kauai and not as much our accommodation. A little unfair to ask guests to do laundry and dishes with a 10 am check out time. I didn’t notice those instructions until looking up check-out details the day of. That’s a solid hour of time commitment so very little time the day of check out to do anything but pack and clean up. When checking in, at first we were unsure how to and nobody answered the phone when trying to contact host, and they say that if you want a check out extension you need to request that in advance- there is no way to do this if nobody answers the phone… The a/c did not work. The fan made an obnoxious clicking sound that could easily be fixed with wd40. The oven handle fell off the second we opened it to bake something. The kettle had a knob fall off as soon as we picked it up. An outdoor chair was broken, the second it was used it ripped. The television came with three remotes and no instructions. There was this virtual guide for guests that had necessary information but it was not the easiest to access and this might be difficult for less tech savvy guests to be accommodated. The place was pretty clean. But for the pull out couch they didn’t provide any pillow cases and not many blankets/bedding either. Overall this place needs very minor updates to be a wonderful accommodation but for the price point- not so much

Great place, but bad interaction with property management company

The apartment was great - everything you would expect in a vacation rental. Furnishings and kitchen supplies were fine. The beach equipment was more than we expected, which was great. We loved going out onto the lawn in the morning and being greeted by the local chickens. And we had a lot of fun in the pool. The AC had some electrical issues, so only worked part of the time, but we turned on all the fans and opened the windows in the bedroom and it wasn't too bad. The only real negative was a really unfortunate interaction with one person at the property management company. On our 2nd day the AC stopped working (there was some electrical issue with the outlet it was plugged into). When I called to ask about it, the guy told me there was no AC in the unit, even after I told him repeatedly I was looking at one as we spoke. I also told him I had read instructions about it in the welcome book and that there were pictures of it on the listing, he continued to tell me there was no AC in the unit. He was essentially saying I was imagining the whole thing. It was a very odd and off-putting reaction. We went over the address several times and he repeatedly told me that I was mistaken and there was no AC, nor should there be an AC in the apartment. He finally said that I needed to prove it, and needed to send him pictures of the AC, the instructions and the listing (which I did), but it was really rude and unexpected, and not what I wanted to be doing on my vacation. The power outlet randomly started working again so we ended up not needing his help, but it definitely soured the experience for us.

Fun in Poipu

This space was well appointed. It had a nice living room and good size dining and kitchen. The living faced out to a green “backyard” shared with other neighbors but it was almost always quiet and serene. The bathroom was large as was the bedroom with a king bed. Large closet was nice to keep suitcases away and tidy. The location was great and walking distance from restaurants and beaches (and turtles and monk seals). Had a parking spot right near the unit, which made for easy access.

An excellent place to stay in Kauai. Everything was clean and the condo was spacious. The only issue that had was we couldn't find the pool key. Wasn't a big deal, since we weren't planning on spending much time in the pool anyway.
