A cozy home for our family holiday. Pre trip communication was excellent, and we were secure knowing our host was available if we needed anything, but they made everything so easy we didn’t need anything.It was nice having a spacious yard to enjoy, and a copse of trees to harbor the wildlife. We saw turkey and deer tracks in the snow, but the critters passed through when we weren’t looking. Easy access from Ladysmith and every amenity required to host Christmas dinner made it the perfect place for us.

Our family stayed in Ladysmith for the Birkie! While it was a bit of a drive, we didn’t mind because the property was so cozy and comfortable. All the rooms were nice, and there was plenty of space for all of us. We especially liked the spacious kitchen for cooking together.

Another Great Stay

This was our second visit to this property and we enjoyed both stays. We used it for a family weekend and spent time flying kites, walking the fields and on a nearby road, and playing board games inside. It's a real bonus to be able to bring our family's dog so the grandkids can play with her. It has everything you need and is quite comfy!

Family ski weekend

Great place to stay with family and/or friends! Lovely kitchen and dining area to cook,eat, visit and play games. Love the mud room with washer & dryer if needed. 3 bedrooms so everyone had their own space. Everything you would need in the kitchen is there for use. Coffee maker very nice. The dishwasher is top notch! Thank you for the lovely accommodations :)

Getaway!

Such a beautiful home and nice land! My dog loved every minute of being of leash and exploring! Not much to see attraction wise but such a beautiful time to just get away and be in nature. So cool seeing all the farms and animals driving around! About 40 minutes from the house is a place called little falls/slough Gundy such a nice little place to see the water. We saw deer and a sand hill crane roaming the fields behind the house. Also heard coyotes howling so many different sounds you don’t get to hear in Chicago! We were also able to see the aurora northern lights such a sight we have never seen before! Such a nice stay would recommend! 10/10!

Absolutely Lovely

The property is clean and well maintained and had everything we could possibly need for our week in Ladysmith. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the common space was perfect for our group. The dogs loved having the yard and Michelle was super responsive when we had questions.

Comfortable house, spacious yard

This comfortable house offers space for family meals and games inside and kickball games outside. It’s fenced to shield you from the busy road, and backs up to open fields and then woods. It was easy to stroll to a nearby township road for daily walks and to the Blue Hills area for longer hikes.

Fantastic Spot

Great property to recharge the battery. Good location for a favorite local restaurant. Plenty of access to great outdoor activities and a nice backyard patio w/ bbq to relax in when you get home. Not to mention all the amenities of home so you can spend most of your time doing what you want (dishwasher, laundry, good internet). Already booked my next stay.
