Awesome place

This was one of the best VRBO's we have stayed in. The listing was spot on and the location was perfect. It was super quiet and comfortable. The hotel where this was has so many things to offer. There is a bar on the 1st floor with a few games, bowling, kareoke, bingo and a bunch of other fun things. The area is absolutely perfect with a park/dog park right across the street. Tons of places to eat all within walking distance. We will for sure be back!

Overall great stay will book again.

The check in process can be delayed so be patient. But the room was very clean and super cute. It’s a good place for adults. We parked in a garage across the street for 1 night which was a bit pricey, but overall I would book here again.

Terrible customer service

There were several issues. The “customer service” person from Sonder was rude and cruel. I reached out to VRBO about the situation but no one from either Sonder or VRBO responded.

Great location, minor flaws otherwise

I saw some bad reviews about Sonder (the owner company) but for me they were unfounded. My issues are minor. 1) the apartment smelled a bit musty and there was constant condensation on the windows (this may be unavoidable). 2) there were some cheese snack type things stuck to pieces of the couch. 3) there were no extra linens for the pullout sofa. The GOOD: 1) fantastic location. 2) amazing shower and bathroom. 3) comfortable bed. 4) nice to have washer dryer. 5) good kitchen space. 6) felt safe. 7) no major noise besides occasional traffic (unavoidable in downtown!). 8) reliable wifi.

The property was in a great location, walking distance to most things. Confusing layout to get up to the apartment. Rooftop bar was super nice and property manager responded quickly to anything we needed.

Great Dallas Downtown location

The room and property were great for our 3 night stay for a wedding at the Room on Main. The room was clean, stocked well and everything was in working order. Lots of restaurants/bars within walking distance. The check-in person was very helpful with several check-in requests we had due to the ice-storm. Be sure to visit the "speak-easy" Bourbon bar in the basement of the Statler. The down side to this unit is that you have to walk down several stairs and through a parking garage to get to the Sonder elevator to go UP to the apartment. There is a Statler elevator that you can take DOWN to the Statler lobby, but it only goes down. Very frustrating when you know the same elevator should be able to go from the Statler lobby UP to your Sonder floor. The Statler bellman has a private elevator that he used to take our things up to the room at check in. And our Sonder site person indicated that they are working to get the elevator issue worked out so that you can go up & down from the Statler lobby - but no date on when that will go into effect.

The Sonder is located inside of a hotel. Everyone was so nice and very clean. I will definitely book again when we go to Dallas. It was very close to market.

Nice room, everything else was horrible.

The room was very nice but the employees working were unprofessional and arrived 30 minutes late. While the other hotel employees were wearing suits and ties, Sonder employees were wearing ripped up jeans and t-shirts. To get to our room we had to walk down a dark staircase into a underground parking lot that smelled worse than any sewage I have ever smelled. The only indicator on where I needed to go was a paper sign taped to a pole. The first door to the elevators was broken and once in the elevator it was extremely hot. Once we got to our floor the hall smelled like mildew and cigarettes. As I said our room was nice but the two lamps in the bedroom didn’t work, the ceiling fan didn’t work in the bedroom and the dryer did not work so we had to leave with wet clothes. All of these issues were related to “customer service” who said they would come fix them but no one ever showed up. If you want a pretty nice room with a bad experience otherwise, this is the place for you.

I loved the location!! Very clean. Your best bet is to use valet. They are the best. Hotel is attached to apartments. Check in was a breeze. Everyone was friendly. Restaurants and bars available downstairs. Will book again when in Dallas

Both the location and the staff were amazing! This unit was perfect for my family of 4. The location was amazing and so was the parking!!! Sonder management was also stellar! We will definitely be back!

Great weekend trip spot

My family came to visit Dallas and this was the perfect place for them to stay. Right in the center of downtown, able to walk most places and Ubers were cheap. Place was clean and quiet!

So much potential

The apartment was beautiful. The hot water faucet handle in master bath did not work. The check in and out needs improvement, the instructions say to meet with Sonder rep but there was never anyone at the desk so we had to call the number on the website and wait for someone. When we checked out again no one was at the desk so we dropped the key in a black box. This is a wonderful concept just needs actual people present to help guests. The hotel amenities are top notch and wonderful that Sonder guests have access to them. We would definitely do this again and hope over time Sonder puts representatives at the welcome desk.

Incredible Views & Wonderful Hospitality

This place exceeded my expectations. I loved being in downtown Dallas first of all. When I stepped into the condo, it looked like something from a magazine. Everything was beautifully minimalistic. There was a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of cookware. That excited the cook in me. The king size bed was so perfect & very comfortable. The guest bathroom is tastefully modern. The main bathroom I was everything. I loved having the ability to wash my laundry in the washer/dryer. The most convenient thing is that there are 3 bars/restaurants located downstairs in the main hotel. I most definitely suggest that you go to the speakeasy called Barrel & Bane. I really loved this place & would definitely stay here my next visit in Dallas.
