We loved our holiday at Mackerel Beach. the house was wonderful.It was warm and comfortable and had plenty of space for the 9 of us. We loved the outdoor dinning even when it was cold, the heater was great but watching the wallabies and birds from the dinning table was brilliant. The sauna was very well appreciated and now we want to get one for home. The kitchen was wonderful very serviceable and functional, plenty of utensils , and crockery, the laundry was a bonus after swimming. The beds were very comfortable . The view from the front and back of the property is exceptional. The bush is so beautiful. The movie room was a favourite with the kids. The wood fire was a favourite with the adults, and everyone loved the record player.We could not have enjoyed our holiday more -it was exceptional!

Relaxing and beautiful stay

We had a lovely stay and Nicola and David were great hosts making sure we had everything we needed. Would recommend and definitely be back!

Summertime at Mackerel with friends

We've just spent at a great week at Mackerel Lodge — an easy house to holiday in... When the sun was shining we were hardly there at all, but when the rain came we really appreciated all the covered outdoor spaces, as well as the lounge room, which gave us plenty of options for big dinners together, yoga, reading, movies, room for teenagers and parents to be be together (and apart...), your collection of vinyl, boardgames, coffee machine and the dryer! Good luck with the final parts of your renovation — we hope to return next January!

Our Christmas at Mackeral

Great house - ideal for family - the boys loved the fishes and we loved the gym and the beautiful dining room upstairs. Lots of inclusions and looks like you are adding even more. We love the outlook at the back and the garden.
