Thanksgiving at the Beach

We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving vacation (6 adults + 1 infant) at the Maritime Flower! This is our third stay at this spacious, beautifully maintained beach home. We look forward to coming back in 2025!

The house is beautiful and immaculate and had everything we needed for 5 adults and 4 kids (including an 18 month old) to have a fun, convenient, and comfortable trip to the beach! We definitely plan to book again soon.

Beautiful home. Plenty of space. Very quiet. Safe, with petrol car driving through the neighborhood daily. Quick and easy walk to the beach. Ocean views. Lovely balconies with plenty of chairs and space. House equipped with everything you need. Lovely stay.

Wonderful home

This is a beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood. It as nice as it looks in the photo gallery and all the amenities are there. Decks and patios are large with a view of the water. The owner was very responsive before and during our stay. We would definitely stay there again.

Beach Get Away

We had family and friends join us for a beach get away before school starts. Everything was perfect. Great location, beautiful home and accommodating owner. The online photos are very accurate. Hopefully, we will have the chance to rent this property again!

Amazing

House was amazing! Great set up, love that all of the bedrooms have their own bathroom. There were plenty of beach toys and chairs for kids. This home was worth every penny. I look forward to staying again. :)

Vacation in Beachside Village, staying in Maritime Flower

We spent a wonderful week in Galveston staying in this beautiful beach house! The house is equipped with a gourmet kitchen and spacious pantry. All the bedrooms have walk out balconies and attached bathrooms. The residential beach is one block from the house. The owners reached out to us several times to answer any questions we had during our stay. We plan to stay here again next year!

Fabulous home and owners!

What a treat it was to stay in this beautiful home! So tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable with plenty of space for the 12 of us. We rented the house to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday and high school graduation. The thoughtful owner surprised us with the number “18” balloons when we arrived! She was extremely responsive throughout the entire rental process and during our stay when we had questions. It was obvious that she truly wanted us to enjoy our time there, and we certainly did! I would rent this lovely home again in a second!

Perfect Family House

We rented this house for 3 families with small kids. The house was just perfect for our trip! Has everything we needed for the kids - cribs, high chair, wagons for the beach, and even a gate at the top of the deck to keep them contained. All of the room and bathrooms were so nice, and the kitchen and living area was great! The walk to the beach was very easy, we had no issues going back and forth all day. We had a minor issue with the microwave and dishwasher - the owner quickly responded to my texts and we got it figured out quickly. Highly recommend this place for a beach vacation!

Great House in Beachside Village

We loved our time at the Maritime Flower. My family of eight (all grown kids with their partners) spent a fabulous birthday weekend at this lovely beachside home. The house is just as the pictures show, if not better. The tall ceilings and landscape windows throughout make the house feel open and airy. The kitchen is complete with top-of-the-line appliances and all the essentials you need to feed your family. The primary suite was spacious and comfortable with a deluxe bathroom perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. It was a short (less than 5 minutes) walk to the dunes crossover to the beach making it easy to come and go. Perfect weekend getaway. We will definitely stay again!

Best and Easiest Stay

This property was amazing. The owner has thought of literally everything for a family stay. Cribs, high chairs, wagons, toys, kitchen goods, grill materials.... you name it. The house is in impeccable shape and so comfortable. Great kids bunk room that provided hours of fun of exploring. House is great for families and or groups. I probably won’t ever stay anywhere else on the island unless of course this rental books up because of this review! Seriously- we’ve stayed all over and felt so comfortable here. Will definitely be back! Thank you!

Amazing house and location

After a full year, we were finally able to vacation together with 3 generations of our family! Maritime Flower was the perfect place to do this! The house was beautiful, kitchen, dining and living room spacious for all the cooking and eating, rooms set up awesome, and location and beach perfect! The beach felt like a private haven where all the cousins and fathers could play football on the sand while the grandparents happily watched and took pictures. It was such an easy walk, even my 86 year old Dad could walk out to the beach! The owners were sooo accommodating and easy to work with! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Amazing Home

Seven of us stayed in this home for the IronMan race, and could not have been more pleased! From initial reservation to check out, the owner of the property was so gracious, with great communication, and went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of. The home is absolutely stunning with beautiful details throughout. We did not need anything further, because the house came stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful, quiet neighborhood, easy two minute walk to the beach, and in an amazing location! The next time we come back to Galveston, we will for sure stay at this stunning home again. Thanks Al for a memorable weekend!

The perfect family destination!

We enjoyed a lovely weekend at Maritime Flower this past weekend and were pleasantly surprised by so many things. The house was absolutely perfect for accommodating children. Not only were there cribs, a highchair, sound machine, infant bath, and dishes, there were also toys, books, shovels & pails for sand play, etc. It was the ideal setup and we didn’t have to think about how to entertain ourselves. This rental home is spacious, modern, and clean and could easily accommodate multiple families. Bonus – there are TV’s in every room!!! Easy access to the beach. Just a five-minute drive into town, but being there felt like a true getaway. We can't wait to come back.

Beautiful

Perfect house to celebrate my 50th with friends! The owner was very accommodating and kind, couldn't have asked for better responsiveness to my stupid questions :). We loved sitting on the back patio with plenty of chairs for all 8 of us on the patio and in the dining area. Kitchen was very well stocked with quality tools and appliances, the cooks in the house were happy. The house was super clean. The owners have gone all out to provide good quality chairs utensils and even yeti cups and a yeti cooler and pretty plastic wine glasses! It's about 5 houses from the beach, which I knew and rented a golf cart to haul our stuff. Neighborhood is also very safe, we went Memorial Day weekend and we constantly saw security driving around the streets and beach, which was comforting since Galveston was insanely crowded that weekend and people were trying to sneak in to the private beach. Did I say Private beach? Yes, and frankly, that aspect was worth every penny.

Outstanding Vacation at Maritime Flower Beach Home

We just completed a 4 night vacation with our kids and grandkids at this fabulous home! It is located in one of the first subdivisions just passed the the two condos that are on the beach so it is real close to everything in Galveston and everything is exactly as described. The home is just a few years old and very high-end. Everything is exactly as descibed and the communications with the owner were outstanding. The 3 minute walk to the beach is easy and there is a wagon, beach canopy, chairs, beach toys, and about anything else you might need in the lower storage area. Everything you might need or want seems to be included in the house and I think you could literally just bring food, drink and clothing, nothing else needed. The beach was clean and rather secluded during the week and cars are not allowed in that section. We would also recommend Coopers Landing and Katie's Seafood House where we experienced great service and spectacular seafood. Everyone loved the Moody Gardens Rainforest and 3-D theater which is real close. All-in-all this beach house provided just the environment needed for some family fun and great memories.

Perfect Beach House

We rented this lovely beach house to celebrate my sister's 80th birthday. It was a small family gathering (6 people) and this house was perfect. It was extremely well appointed and had everything we needed. The owner was amazing and communicated with us frequently. They were very accommodating with our group and really went out of their way to make this weekend special. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Beautiful Property and Wonderful Host

My husband and I hosted our two sons and their wives at the lovely Maritime Flower this past weekend. We were looking for a relaxing weekend away from the city, and this was the perfect place for our family gathering. The house is beautifully decorated with many amenities such as beach chairs, tent etc. As a bonus, our host, Al, was very friendly and accommodating. I recommend this property for anyone looking for a fun, relaxing getaway minutes from the beach!

Luxury and peace of mind

Not only are the owners so accommodating, responsive, and kind - they have thought of everything. While this rental is still exquisite for renters with no children, it is beyond perfect for families. You don’t have to bring anything other than yourselves, personal items, and a love for the beach. As a family of 7 I cannot tell you how much of a relief it is to rent a vacation where the cribs, changing pad, high chair, toys, beach toys, beach pop up, spices, cleaning supplies, board games, towels, linens, cookware, is there anything I haven’t mentioned, is provided. They even go above and beyond with personalized Yeti tumblers for use during your stay. I would recommend staying at the Maritime Flower for anyone who wants a blissful Galveston vacation.
