We loved the house and the backyard!I hope it is available for our next trip to Baton Rouge. The bathrooms were spotless. Plenty of toiletries available if needed. The kitchen is unbelievable…tons of utensils and gadgets…. ice maker, coffee machine, toaster oven….cleaning supplies. The bedrooms & closets are well stocked with the necessary linens. The sheets and pillows reminded me of my grandmother’s home (a great memory from my youth). The swing in the backyard made my day, especially since the weather was perfect during our stay….no rain, little humidity and not too hot….a rare occurrence for Baton Rouge! The only thing missing was a piece of chocolate on our pillows each night!
Wonderful location to LSU and all of Baton Rouge. The house itself is adorable, charming and very well kept. Would absolutely return if we come back to the area.
Came into town for LSU’s move-in weekend. The house was just as described. The furniture was aesthetically pleasing. The beds were comfortable. The linens were Devine. Lots of parking and we were able to park our cars behind a gate. Everything about the house was great. A few things we were hoping for but the house didn’t have: and travel size soaps or lotions, Coffee pods, enough towels. These things are not deal breakers but nice to have. I will mention there are some steps in the house, not a big deal for us but maybe for some. The one thing that we didn’t realize was that it is located an a VERY busy street! Like super busy!At night it was hard to tell which house was ours. You could hear the road noise of the cars driving past at all hours of the night. And it was kind of dangerous to pull into and out of the driveway with the amount of traffic. Overall the house was good. It was clean and modern and fit 6 adults comfortably.
Looking for a place to stay at in Baton Rouge? Then look no further than this place, especially if you have kids. The place is a lot more spacious than shown in the pics. Everything was enjoyable. From being able to cook your own food to getting a comfortable sleep in the bed, I highly recommend this place.
A delightful home south of Baton Rouge, surprisingly quiet despite its proximity to Lee Drive.
