My girlfriends and I had a wonderful stay at the Big Bear Chalet and it had everything we needed and so much space! The location was super convenient for us as we were only minutes away from the trailhead parking into some fabulous hiking trails in Strathcona Park. Laine was also very responsive when I had any questions.

Excellent base for exploration

A comfortable, well maintained property. In the summer it was a perfect place to explore the surroundings with its trails, lakes, and an active chair lift to take us to the summit for views and more trails.

Wonderful Stay

The property description was very accurate. Check-in was extremely easy and the location ideal. We had a great stay with 6 adults and 6 children. The separation of space between games room and bedroom/living was perfect.

This was a great space for our family to gather at Christmas! Not only.is the place beautiful, but the hosts have added thoughtful touches such as having pet bowls available, children specific dinnerware in the cupboards and had put up a Christmas tree.
