I can only judge an accommodation by how we felt during our stay and I can say that we felt relaxed, peaceful and cared for. This is a beautiful property in a good location, close to everything in the Historic District. You can book with without hesitation. We plan to return.

The Douglass house was perfect for our family of four (two being teens). Most everything was within a 10 minute walk. We were able to do a lot of sightseeing around the city and even stop back “home” to drop off shopping and/or cool off. The house and all of its amenities were wonderful! It is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and CLEAN! The check-in/out process was super easy & smooth as well. Thank you for an awesome stay! **The only thing I would note is that the pool access is not nearby, but located o outside of Savannah. However, we were so busy sightseeing that we didn’t need the pool. We were also heading to Tybee after our stay in Savannah.

Excellent location as it is close to shops, restaurants, sights but also just off the main area enough to be quiet. Very clean. Easy check in and out and access. Narrow staircase up to the bedrooms. Not an issue for us but something to be aware of if you’re bringing large suitcases. We did not use the pool, so cannot comment on that amenity. Kitchen is small but has everything needed. Overall a great place to stay.

We loved our stay at the Douglas House! Property was very clean with all the amenities that you need. Great that it had a parking space for our rental car. House is located in a great location for walking to many things, especially the trolley and River Street.Property management team was very responsive, we had one minor issue and they resolved it for us while we were out.Hotel 17Hundred90 is right across the street, great for a nightcap.The one negative has nothing to do with the house or host but there is constructionacross the street which wakes you at 7:00 am.Would recommend and stay again!

Our family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home in great location that was a couple minutes walk to downtown attractions, museums, restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, and the river!! The house was clean, kitchen was big enough to move around and had everything we needed for our stay. The host kindly left a charming basket of snacks and a couple bottles of water which came pretty handy for us:) We will definitely go back again.

Perfect Location

The house is beautiful, well appointed, and very comfortable. The location was ideal and the hosts were very responsive and a pleasure to deal with throughout our booking and stay. Would definitely recommend this rental and would stay here again.

Location, Location, Location!

Perfect location for staying in downtown Savannah. Beautiful house. Everything we needed for a long weekend in one of our favorite towns. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
